Sunday Leftovers

Like leftovers from a defrosting fridge, I have a few more photos from Sunday.

Lady R looking shiny on a murky day

I'd like to say it was so cold the cream in the coffee froze midair, but I can't.

I can spot a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon from over 100 yards away

Yup, an ATV and PBR on ice. "Hello, Wisconsin!"

  4. Beautiful and spacious! I’m so attracted by the dusting of snow but snowfall is rare in my part of the world even when people feel chilled to the bone.

  5. If you're going to be chilled to the bone you might as well have snow. One cold day this week and spring weather for the weekend. Then who knows.

  6. Excellent. I wish we had some snow around here.

  7. Living in Florida, I think 42 is cold, but I don't have to deal with it often.

    1. Oh yeah, many lbs less and many years younger I was still reluctant to go on the frozen lakes unless it was freezing cold for weeks.

  9. It looks pretty freaking cold to me. You say it's melting and they're still on the ice with an ATV?! Oh well... Nice shots!

    1. Nah, look at all the puddles. Yeah, still on the ice with ATVs and shacks and campers and cases of PBR.

  15. I had to look that brand up, Sallie. Blatz, possibly, Miller, most likely, Budweiser, sure, Leinie's you betcha, but Plotz, I doubt it. My guess is most of the fisherman just demonstrate the meaning of the word.

    1. I haven't had the best balance in past years but I used to love to walk on the lakes when I was sure it was deeply frozen.

  17. Haha! Funny about the PBR & ATV. Never been on ice like that before & not sure I'm too keen on trying! LOL Have a great (rest of your) week!

    1. The PBR is especially funny to me because I had a great aunt who sucked it down like water.
