On The Move

We've had a glorious two days and another few in store before hellacious humidity and heat return. I guess it got so hot even the picnic tables took to the lake.

If we move slowly, people will just accept it

Fishin' just off the WI River in Boscobel

The migration of picnic tables began back in May. Looks cool, doesn't it. I can almost hear it saying, "Ahhh."

    1. That was Saturday when it was so incredibly warm. Looked and felt like a scene from Huck Finn or such.

    1. Devil's Lake, the first and last shots, is a pretty good place to swim, but it's deep and you need to use common sense. The fishermen is just off the WI River and although it might not be treacherous, many people have drown there. I'm not familiar with that section of it and was thrilled to see it stretch out so far.

    1. Me neither, but I have a cousin who is mad for it. He got many fish just before the weather got hot while the lake was cold and clean and YUM.

    1. It was extremely hot when I took that last weekend and this weekend may be worse. There was another fisherman on a little sandbar to his left but those photos didn't catch the light like this did.

  7. Seems too soon for the extreme heat and humidity. I did get a chuckle about the picnic tables slowly sneaking into the water!
