Bucket-O-Fries

The long holiday saw festivals, horseplay and a great blue sky looking spectacular against midway rides. So many adorable red, white and blue outfits and rides many of us wouldn't go on for a bucket of fries.

    1. Yes and no, parking is never fun, but I think I hit a few nice fests.

    1. It seemed kind of hot for fries at that festival, but thankfully never too hot for brats.

    1. They sure were and there was a hole in one golf contest off to the right of that shot so people were waiting on a bench and trying to drop their ball in a bucket in the water.

    1. Somehow I managed, but then I walked out of the midway straight to a brat stand.

  7. Great photos. I love the first one with the flags reflecting in the water. I also like all the bright colors you captured. For some reason July 4th to me is all about bright colors.

    1. I did like that one, especially since I didn't go too far into the belly of the beast, aka, the beer tent.

    1. Funny, kettle corn was one of the things that really tempted me. And sadly enough I've come to know the kettle corn guy at most of the festivals.

    1. Thanks, I think of the Fourth as midsummer even though it's more like early August. For me, the days around the Fourth epitomize summer.
