Garbage Looks Better In Black & White

I remember my mother tsk tsking the sight of full trash bins from La Fete de Marquette shortly after her birthday. She said something like, "In my 93 years I've never seen such garbage." (She just turned 92.) These are the kind of photos you get when neither of you wants to get out of the car.

Parking was in a galaxy far, far away

And speaking of not getting out of the car, I took this photo leaning out of the window in a Culvers parking lot

    1. Forever dating herself a year older than she is for effect. I think once past 90 the point is moot.

  2. Well, at least people were filling the trash bins....rather than just tossing their garbage on the ground [which is too often the case].

    1. Yes they're a decent, planet-saving lot over by Willie Street.

    1. Thanks, it might be too light, but I liked the effect.

  6. Quite a contrast between cheerful market (?) and garbage behind it.

    1. It's a festival with lots of music and food and vendors. It was pretty cheerful from what I heard (Irish music playing on one stage).
