Mono Blooms

The spring went from snowstorm to 90 in the blink of an eye which is how fast the flowering trees and bushes change in the UW Arboretum. I took this photo the first week of May and bet everything has grown almost beyond recognition by now. I better load up on the DEET before I go back.

They have no idea how many critters are watching them

  2. I love spring. It's my favorite time of year. We too have had the roller-coaster temperatures. One day it's so hot you can't breath and the next day the heater is on.

    Have a fabulous day. ♥

    1. That about sums it up, Sandee but the fans and AC go on a lot quicker than the heat for me.

    1. I'm afraid I missed the peak because it was so hot but I'm anxious to see what's happened there since.

    1. Oh yeah, sure it does, Susie, you can feel all those eyes on you. Every once in a while I stop by the office of the park down the way to ask them what's out there and it's a pretty scary list. Not to mention I had a run in with a very unhappy deer there once.

    1. I'm pretty sure we got robbed of spring this year, Ella, but I can appreciate the summer if it's not too hot. It didn't crack 80 ˚(26) today so I'm pretty happy about that, especially since most of my time outside was in the pool (: I liked this one better in black and white.

    1. I don't know, but they could be because there are magnolia trees over there. I was going to take photos of it today but was on the wrong end.

    1. We didn't really have a spring this year and there are the occasional black bear and one too many coyotes, but I'm not afraid of the deer and turkey yet, lol.

    1. That would make sense, Betty. I was too late to see the peak but there are plenty of magnolias in those gardens.
