Hope you got my note about linking to that crazy cool gull shot, Betty. I first thought of CK too, but Dire Straits fits Handsome Bob more musically, in band title, and lyrics.
Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it! I'm claiming my joy this year by listening to music again. I lost track of what I like to do throughout the busy years. Opening up my heart and soul to music and creativity. Thanks for reminding me to listen today. I haven't yet till now. JM, Illinois-U.S.A.
That would be like forgetting to breath for me, JM. Dire Straits reminds me of good times although right now I'm listening to jazz on WORT. Not sure where you live but you must get some fantastic music coming in from Chitown.
That is so cute! Believe it or not I've never heard this song by Dire Straits & my husband is a musician and plays Sultans of Swing by them all the time. hahahaha.... Well, I love the pic with the poor puppy so far away! Love how you put it together... great thinkin' there!!! Thanks for sharing.
Did you make a decision about your lens? Your doggie must be a character:):) Just a gentle reminder, SEASONS is resuming this Sunday -hope to see you there:)
Good to hear, hope you had a nice break. I am leaning toward keeping it because I like it and want at least a three year warranty from a near-by store. But it's nagging at me that it costs so much more than the older one. Oh yeah, I'll be by with lots of cat photos (:
Please don't link your blog in the comments or it will be deleted. Your comment, not your blog, but wouldn't that be unsettling? Blog Hop Links are in the sidebar.
Dire Straits, it doesn't get much better! A GREAT one. Thanks for sharing this week, keeping snapping and singing.
ReplyDeleteI will Tom, much to the objections of everyone around me (:
DeleteGreat selections!
ReplyDeleteI thought Dire Straits more appropriate for Bob than Carole King, Jackie.
ReplyDeleteNice job matching photo and tune!

Thanks Sue, I'm always kind of thinking that way matching pics and tunes.
DeleteOh nice -- I have an earworm now -- but it's OK cuz it is a fun song.... and your picture is perfect.
ReplyDeleteHa, I kind of do too, but I thought Caroel King would be worse.
DeleteGreat shots for the song.
ReplyDeleteYour shot of the turquoise water and pink sails will stay in my head for awhile, Tamar.
DeleteAlways a great song & a great Far Away puppy photo
ReplyDeleteStill laughing at "he was his own Gull."
DeleteNice shot! I guess I'm old because my first thought was Carole King!

DeleteIt took me some time to realize there is a dog in the photo.
ReplyDeleteThat's Handsome Bob back there being all weird. Sometimes he's stubborn just to be stubborn.
DeleteGreat song and nice paved area with dog.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Terra, my cousin has a lovely garden and patio area which is almost like a photo cheat at this point.
DeleteNice touch with photo and song...and aww at the doggy heheh!
ReplyDeleteHave a pavedtastic week :-)
Ha, your puns are worth a thousand words, Steve.
DeleteLOL! Absolutely love it! :)

ReplyDeleteThank you Marie, and I love your bug zapper tennis racket! I must have heard it a lot at one time because it's stuck in my head.
ReplyDeleteTaking me back to the 80's! Such great music!

One of those non annoying 80s bands, Kelleyn.
DeleteLol at the photo. Dire Straits are an awesome band, or were an awesome band.
ReplyDeleteYeah, wonder what they're up too.
