I'd like to say it was so cold the cream in the coffee froze midair, but I can't. |
I can spot a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon from over 100 yards away |
Yup, an ATV and PBR on ice. "Hello, Wisconsin!" |
It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...
Yep, genuine non hipster PBR I would bet also.
ReplyDeleteI would guess you're right, Yogi. My great Aunt's beverage of choice.
DeleteBeautiful series. Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping no one falls through this year.
DeleteLovely shots! And it looks cooold!
ReplyDeleteNot very cold, Ashely, it was 42˚ and everything is melting.
DeleteBeautiful and spacious! I’m so attracted by the dusting of snow but snowfall is rare in my part of the world even when people feel chilled to the bone.
ReplyDeleteYoko
If you're going to be chilled to the bone you might as well have snow. One cold day this week and spring weather for the weekend. Then who knows.
ReplyDeleteExcellent. I wish we had some snow around here.
ReplyDeleteAmalia
xo
We only have the dirty piles but hoping that mess will melt away soon, Amalia.
DeleteLiving in Florida, I think 42 is cold, but I don't have to deal with it often.
ReplyDeleteHeat wave, babi!
DeleteNice shots I prefer looking than being out in it heheh! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, many lbs less and many years younger I was still reluctant to go on the frozen lakes unless it was freezing cold for weeks.
DeleteIt looks pretty freaking cold to me. You say it's melting and they're still on the ice with an ATV?! Oh well... Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteNah, look at all the puddles. Yeah, still on the ice with ATVs and shacks and campers and cases of PBR.
DeleteLovely wintry scenes and fun times ~ thanks,
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy Week ahead ~ ^_^
I think everyone is having as much fun as you can this time of year, Carol.
DeleteI enjoyed your photos but wondered about the ATV on the melting ice.....sheesh that's scary!
ReplyDeleteAt least I haven't seen any SUVs, but I wasn't really looking.
DeleteLovely shots, have a good Tuesday
ReplyDeletemuch love...
Thanks, Gillena and a Happy Valentine's Day to you.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Anybody ever take a bottle of good wine out there?
ReplyDeleteThat seems very wrong to me, but maybe in Norway.
DeleteOr even just ordinary plotz?
ReplyDeleteI had to look that brand up, Sallie. Blatz, possibly, Miller, most likely, Budweiser, sure, Leinie's you betcha, but Plotz, I doubt it. My guess is most of the fisherman just demonstrate the meaning of the word.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy watching summer scenes including frozen lakes (I have never ever walked on it).
ReplyDeleteI haven't had the best balance in past years but I used to love to walk on the lakes when I was sure it was deeply frozen.
DeleteHaha! Funny about the PBR & ATV. Never been on ice like that before & not sure I'm too keen on trying! LOL Have a great (rest of your) week!
ReplyDeleteThe PBR is especially funny to me because I had a great aunt who sucked it down like water.
DeleteEnjoy the post about leftovers this week. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteThanks, L&V, I'm thinking I'll have plenty of photos in this incredible thaw.
