Big Rope Little Dog
It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...

I thought when Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone in the first quarter of that Viking game in mid-October it was some kind of karmic paymen...

This is hard for me to write not only because I'm broken up about Dexter's owner taking him back soon, but because being a dog perso...
Great capture! Hope cooler weather is coming around the world.
ReplyDeleteIt did then back again with a fairly miserable weekend. Today I've got the sliding door open with the fan on and it's hovering aroudn 85˚. I had no idea I'd be this weather obsessed when I became an old coot (not the bird).
DeleteWell spotted! Looks like he didn't trust the lake water ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's more trustworthy if you don't look at it or get a good whiff, DS.
DeleteSometime ya just gotta cool down whatever it takes!
ReplyDeleteAre you asking for a bath my little friend?
DeleteOh dear, does the lake smell that bad? There's certainly been a lot of similar cooling-off over on this side of the Atlantic, what with our recent heatwave. I think maybe this guy was going for a dramatic pose! #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteI certainly can stink up the city, but truth be told it wasn't so bad that day although there are too many worse than an armpit days lodged in my sense memory.
DeleteRight on time.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling, another reason not to bike through the city anymore.
DeleteA lovely natural moment to capture
ReplyDeleteI was trying for a hunk photo so almost there, Fi.
DeleteI think everyone has felt like this at some point this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
Ugh, and this weekend too. I think if you can get past Tuesday you'll have a pleasant week to work that ankle, Darren.
DeleteGreat capture and I love your caption, yes, hot weather equals smellier armpits :)
ReplyDelete#mysundayphoto
As does pretty much any biker with pit hair, Anne. Shudder, bleh.
DeleteHi Jeanna, it's almost Magic Mike moment, but not quite, he's wearing far too many clothes! A candid moment, nicely caught.
ReplyDeletexx
Yeah, that's what I was thinking, Deb, great minds and all. Ha, indeed, I'll have to wait it out next time.
DeleteHe'd get wet undies if he jumped in the lake ;) #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteI don't think a soggy bottom is conducive to biking.
DeleteI thought he was still crying over the World Cup for a minute there! #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteHmm, soccer, I suppose he could care about that. I believe the US has a soccer team but I've never seen anyone cry about it. I mean more people have grimaced over Joe Theismann's leg than will ever shed a tear for soccer I'm guessing...hoping.
DeleteLOL about his armpits!!! Nice "street" capture! It's been exceptionally hot here in Southern California too!
ReplyDeleteI bet it has, I was just listening to someone from a PA university say how it's only going to get worse because of carbon emissions. The heat, the floods, the fires are all tied together. The number of large fires all over the world and especially in Greece and CA was so large I couldn't comprehend it.
DeleteThat's a great shot! The armpits remark cracked me up, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm not fond of the male armpit, Susie.
DeleteWhen I first met the Husband, his armpits sometimes smelled like the spice cumin and sometimes like a baby. I think it came from the sticks that ward off smell (I can't remember the name right now). When he stopped using them, the cumin and baby scents eventually went away.
DeleteHe or you could sell that sh*t. Who wouldn't want their man to smell like cumin and baby powder? When you say the sticks that ward off smell do you mean deodorant, haaaa.
DeleteYup, you got it. lol
DeleteToo good. Wish I had your talent for people pix ... I see some of the oddest moments on our streets here in Eugene!
ReplyDeleteI bet you do, I want to see some of those Eugene snaps, Sallie!
Deletefrom your words I guess that might be the reason he did not jump in :) Love the situation image. :)
ReplyDeleteThe shore wasn't littered with dead carp and the blue green algae blooms weren't terrorizing villagers, but still.
DeleteGreat image. I don't take many photos of people. I should fix that :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I took more but you know I don't like having my photo taken and I've had a few run ins, but you keep at it and learn how to deal. They really are my favorite types of shots, though.
