Say Cheese! (Cake) WI Dells

The Dells,  I lost my car there for a week in the seventies then found it with a note saying it was driving well and thanks for the wheels. I didn't really know it was missing until I saw the note. I think they may have washed it too. What's that saying about God looking out for drunks and fools?

This Silver Lady wafted out of Cheesecake Heaven toting a silver pillar.

Say Cheese, Wisconsin Dells! Although I'd normally share my mother's sinful yet heavenly and quite serious cheesecake recipe, I've put on five pounds just typing the word, "cheesecake" (so that's what, 25 pounds?).

    1. Haaaa, I bet. I shouldn't be surprised by anything I see in the Dells anymore although it does surprise me that I'm not sitting on a bar stool and sober every time I pass through.

  8. The Silver Lady looks like someone we’d see at the Oregon Country Fair ...it’s an annual throwback to the 60s event near our home. ... We could not believe the Dells when we traveled in your State. Had absolutely no idea it was there... our memories of our time there are nowhere near as exciting as yours though, but we were already old! Sigh. ...Thanks for having the kinky party!

  9. I'm not sure I understand the car story - it was stolen? And given back?

    1. I'd use the word, "borrowed." I'm pretty sure they cleaned it and checked the oil.

  12. Haha, I came back in case you had a new post and looking at my first comment, I see I typed “kinky” when I meant “linky” party. Now that was a cheesy comment . Congrats on all the PT and diet work you’re doing.

    1. Hey, La, how the hell are ya? Am I hearing that it's still snowing in CO? I was about to put the fireplace on this week even though I had the AC going a few times already. But today it's all open windows and screen doors and quite lovely. I'll pop over and see what's up with you and the most excellent poodle.
