The 2nd Annual Harry Potter Festival in Edgerton does. I was amused enough on Friday to return on Sunday. The weather was gor jus.
Note: I'm easily amused.
Another Note: Still too cheap to buy a map.

It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...
This looks brilliant

It was fun, bummed I missed Quidditch today.
DeleteSuch fun to have a Harry Potter day and that little Harry looks gorgeous. The kids with the wands are gorgeous as well. Hope they lerned some great wand tricks :)
ReplyDeleteI agree and some sweet pups and excellent adult costumes too. There were Defense Against The Dark Arts classes so I bet they did, Marja.
DeleteWell, I must admit that all this Harry Potter stuff has never hit my radar screen. Great shot here, Jeanna! Let's start a gofundme for your water pump and a few maps. Thanks for stopping by, I hope that you find your way back again.
ReplyDeleteRead the first one to my nephew when he was sick and we got caught up in them. Another mechanic said I didn't need the water pump or idle pulleys but should get new tires. I did, don't like them and last Monday I got stuck in the mud like a rat in a trap. Still paying the price for that one.
DeleteI'm easily amused as well. This looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteThey had things like Quidditch matches and zip line broom lessons I missed out on. Or shall I say missed out on taking photos of.
DeleteI want to go too! Oh, the muggles are easily amused.
ReplyDeleteI was a bit bummed that I didn't see the full effect of Harry's Patronus with the fog machine and lights, but I'll take the gorgeous day.
DeleteWhat fun. I would love to play a game of quidditch.
ReplyDeleteI just got there as a match ended and people were hopping on the bus. Next year.
DeleteHow fun is that?
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
The Patronus Pond was quite enjoyable in the gorgeous weather and Diagon Alley was interesting enough when it was chillier.I didn't venture inside anywhere although I was curious about their butter beer and pub crawl.
DeleteOne of those photo op weekends, Sue.
ReplyDeleteWhat great shots! I love HP.
ReplyDeleteMe too Lady Fi, and so close to home.
DeleteHe-he!
ReplyDeleteNice series!
Wish I could have gotten the broomstick lessons tho'.
DeleteSo fun!
ReplyDeleteI think if you planned it out you'd have a happy family.
DeleteThat first image is priceless.
ReplyDeleteI agree Driller, one of the first shots I took and one of my favs.
DeleteLove this post. Such fun! I had to chuckle at your caption for breastfeeding. Beautiful dog! Thanks so much for joining Friday's Hunt. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteA little more PG than the first thing that came to mind, EH.
DeleteThe first one is priceless! Thanks so much for sharing it with ALL SEASONS - much appreciated! Sorry, am a little late with connecting with everyone - too many (good)diversions. Hope you're having a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I liked that one JSG. It's gotten cold suddenly but loving all the dead nuisance bugs.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like so much fun! Beautiful pictures and beautiful nature around.I love that picture of the lake with lot of ducks...
ReplyDeleteThe pond was loaded with ducks and they did not take kindly to so many people disrupting their day.
DeleteWhat cute photos!
ReplyDeleteEveryone seemed so happy.
DeleteWhat an awesome festival for the die hards!
ReplyDeleteI think it was nice for the town as well, Alicia.
DeleteLovely shots :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jarek, right back at you.
DeleteMy girls are still to young for the Harry Potter saga but I would love spend the day there!!
ReplyDeleteIt means a lot to me because my nephew and I started reading them when he was, 10, maybe and then grew up with them.
DeleteI enjoyed this post for WednesdayAroundTheWorld... wonderful captures with Harry Potter 🤗
ReplyDeleteThank you for the possibility of translation
...here if you like: https://happy-hour-with-picts.blogspot.de/2016/10/zwischen-den-zeilen.html
I hope the translator helps, I know it's not spot on but I think people can get an idea.
DeleteI see your bad hombre.... But where is your nasty woman? If I were there, (and I wish I had been) she would have been behind my
ReplyDeletecamera )). Politics aside, I absolutely love everything about this post. And honestly laughed out loud at the nursing witchmom...great picture all by itself and your caption makes it national publication-worthy! You should own the Internet!
Why in the Bellatrix Lestrange vid of course. Ha, I'm finally responding on Election Day or shall we say possibly the last day when anything made sense. I decided to be just a tit I mean tad classier than usually and not make the obvious joke about it being colder than a blank's blank. And it wasn't that cold. National publication worthy well feel free my friend. Ha, I'll settle for owning a working automobile you flatterer!
DeleteI never did read the Harry Potter books (not my thing) but it looks like you all had a grand time there.
ReplyDeleteIt was quite pleasant, Ida. Everyone was having fun and it's close by.
DeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kelleyn, it was especially sweet if you're a fan. Which I am.

Thank you, Marja, I'm going to roll up me sleeves and give it a shot.
