Because I Took These With A Cheap Old Phone During A Partial Eclipse
While those lucky enough to be in The Path waited for darkness, we waited for light. Here's what you get with a 2nd gen Moto E. I took a few shots through my solar glasses but didn't see a difference. I did notice a violet tint in the wide shots and brought it out in Elements.

I'm sorry but my favorite shot is the cat waiting for the eclipse LOL
ReplyDeleteHe is really waiting for yogurt or chicken to drop his way.
DeleteLooked similar in my area, although not as cloudy. I did manage to get a couple mediocre shots of the partial eclipse. That's one cool cat!
ReplyDeleteHe's a groovy hep cat, daddio.
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by! I applaud your cat for maintaining a calm dignity in the midst of so much excitement!
ReplyDeleteYes, that's his thing, along with lying smack dab on all my power cords as he's doing right now.
DeleteFabulous shots.
ReplyDeleteOh, c'mon, lol.
Deletewell, maybe not a great image of the eclipse, but as abstract I think they are great :)
ReplyDeleteMy cousin's phone shots were the same, just one bright roundish image. Ha, thanks, the umbrellas always help make something a bit more interesting.
DeleteAwesome sky shots ~ Your kitty 'steals the show', though ^_^
ReplyDelete(A SHUTTERBUG EXPLORES)
That he does, Carol, although totally unaware of much except bugs and grooming at the moment.
ReplyDeleteYou have a very accomodating cat even if he/she remained bored by the whole event.
ReplyDeleteHe seems to have resigned himself to my nonsense as of late.
Deletelove the cat image with the glass on. :) That´s the problem with skies. Never clear when you want it to be.
ReplyDeleteWe saw enough.
