Big Rope Little Dog
It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...

I thought when Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone in the first quarter of that Viking game in mid-October it was some kind of karmic paymen...

This is hard for me to write not only because I'm broken up about Dexter's owner taking him back soon, but because being a dog perso...
Love these photos. I have a cousin who is a fireman. Teresa http://nanahood.com/cobalt-restaurant-great-food-wonderful-atmosphere
ReplyDeleteIt was one of the happiest events I've seen. I wish I'd seen the kids compete in the park across the street.
DeleteSuch fun! My SIL started as a fire fighter, so I know of some the events they're having - love how the kids like it! Oh, and by the way, in Europe they sometimes use this method to break up crowds that are rioting. That water has such force that it knocks you down easily. Many thanks for sharing this fun event with All Seasons - have a cool watery week, Jeanna:)
ReplyDeletePS thank you for your kind comment last week!
It's one of my favorite towns, great sundaes and brats with a sweet church that chimes on the hour. It's a Swiss town with lots of colorful fiberglass cows scattered about and one of my fav bike trails.
Delete...it's finally been warm around here, this water fight sure looks like fun. Thanks for sharing, stay cool.
ReplyDeleteIt was surprisingly warm on Saturday with some humidity that stayed around until today so it was a pretty popular event. It was hours of water fights.
DeleteThose kids are having an absolute blast!!! Great shots!
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the link-up at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2017/08/ready-to-go.html
It struck me how many people were happy and smiling. I didn't even mind getting some splash back.
DeleteOh what fun and terrific shots! Love back to of the fireman ~ ^_^
ReplyDeleteI can feel the water spraying when I look at them again.
DeleteThat's a way to stay cool!!
ReplyDeleteBeing nearby was good enough for me, Tamar.
DeleteSummer time and the livin' is .... wet and wild in Wisconsin! Fun for all ages.
ReplyDeleteI love New Glarus. Sorry I missed one of the best local bands that played later, but I did get that wonderful sundae.
DeleteHaha! brilliant photos those kids loved it and the firemen come to that :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a hosetastic week :-)
Anyone could register a team of three and compete. It was in front of the fire house.
DeleteSuch fun!
ReplyDeleteLots of smiling happy people.
DeleteLots of fun there. Hope they ended up with a lot of money!
ReplyDeleteI do too, I noticed plenty of other nearby fire departments joined in.
DeleteLots of good "Clean" fun
ReplyDeleteThe street sure got a wash.
DeleteThat is a great way to cool off. What a cool event. Bob and Doug are two of my favorites. Love the song with Getty Lee.
ReplyDeleteI actually I have a best of SCTV DVD at home
DeleteI didn't know they had a CD out. I was burning CDs from old shows for awhile but I unplugged all the VCRs and CD players to save on space and sanity.
DeleteIt's funny how Dave Thomas was the man back then and along came Ghostbusters and Honey I Shrunk the Kids and Spaceballs and my favorite of the Rick Moranis flicks, Little Shop of Horrors.
Deletelooks like fun indeed! I hope the fundraising went well..
ReplyDeleteI should find out if it did, thanks for reminding me, Indah.
DeleteCool action pics.
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
Since I'm usually the most inactive one I guess it's easy, Indrani.
DeleteWow, so much fun! I like when the community gets together to celebrate. #WordlessWednesday
ReplyDeleteI was impressed other close-by towns joined in as well.
DeleteAwesome event! Really enjoyed the photos. Looks like a fun day.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I loved the cool spray on my skin. Wish every event had that.
DeleteWohooooo, what a fun in summer heat!
ReplyDeleteYou are a famous action reporter...
Haha, I am an unpaid and unheralded old school features writer who thinks pictures are more fun than words.
DeleteYou really captured the fun in these shots- Love the photo of the little girl hugging her mommy..
ReplyDeleteI didn't know if I liked that one or not but decided I did because she was bugging her mom and it was kind of cute and funny.
DeleteOh my! These little photos give me hope for our world!

I have to agree, that's why I love going to New Glarus.
DeleteWhat a load of fun! Thanks for sharing!
DeleteJust my speed with refreshing spray to cool you off and incredible sundaes down the road.
DeleteI've been to New Glarus but not for this event. Do you live there? Looks like everyone had a fun time.
ReplyDeleteNo but it's very close from the west side of Madison where I was dog sitting. Don't worry, they had plenty of time with me. Too much, some might argue, lol.
DeleteNice way to cool off and fund-raise, but I bet the water pressure was high. Ouch!
ReplyDeleteIt was a great idea although the food stand could have seen more business. I got a lot of spray and that was plenty, haha.
DeleteWhat a fun day! I hope they raised lots of money for their cause.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing with #MMBC. Hope to see you next week :)
I asked and they never answered, I'm thinking they need a bit more media savvy but it seems they have loads of community support.
