Sunday is airing out mum with a drive and a lady lunch day so I'll try again, maybe I'll give her the camera.
Meanwhile here's a shot I took with a kit lens a few years ago. I'll be trying to beat this photo, but on top of a monochrome fall, my camera is only working in auto settings.
Bitch, whine, whinge, kvetch, time for a new camera and cooler weather.
I love the autumn tones, feels so calm
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
I barely remember what autumn looks and feels like, Darren.
DeleteKeep the snow away, this is so pretty! With the weather it's similar here, now in the 80ties which is for me the most comfortable, because that's the going temps. where we lived before (Los Angeles basin)
ReplyDeleteThanks for trying again a second time to link up ...and succeeding! Living at 3000 feet nearby a small town does have its consequences (sometimes) for the internet. Some cell phones don't even work here!
I hope your cell works, J. It is pretty but I'm afraid I won't see these sights this year.
DeleteNice capture and colour, weather is changing day by day here in London too :-(
ReplyDeleteLMAO @ Bitch, whine, whinge, kvetch, time for a new camera and cooler weather. :-)
Have a bitchtastic week :-)
It might turn into fall next week, STB. Have a quaktastic week matey bloke.
DeleteThat's so beautiful!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was, bummer they cut out the Farm Art DTour this year. I think I still knew where I was going when I took this shot.
DeleteA beautiful fall landscape
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carol, I'll see anything so nice this year.
DeleteLovely Autumn photo ~ We are having the exact same weather ~ so I emphasize ~ I don't even have any autumn foliage near by ~ Weather and the World are a bit off kilter to say the least ~ Happy Week to you ~ ^_^
ReplyDeleteA ShutterBug Explores aka (A Creative Harbor)
It's crazy, isn't it? I was just looking for color a few blocks away and some rent a cop went after me for taking pictures of trees on state property. It was bizarre.
DeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteToo bad it's not from this year, Tamar.
DeleteThe autumn colours are so lovely. I enjoying seeing them in the northern hemisphere. Down here in Australia I am enjoying the spring wildflowers. Enjoy the rest of your week. I hope your next outing provides more "color". I am visiting you from Our World Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteI'd much rather be enjoying spring and as far as the color, pfffttt, time to call it on this fall. I'll look for your wildflower pics, Jill. Happy Spring to you.
DeleteThe pic you show is beautiful color to my mind. I hope when I get too old to drive somebody will take me out for an airing and a nice lunch.
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favorites except for the washout at the top, I haven't seen anything even close to it this year. Ha, yeah me too, Sallie!
DeleteWonderful autumn colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'll keep looking but don't expect to see anything like I did the year it was taken.
DeleteThis is one beautiful photo! Our weather has finally turned cooler, but I hear that it's going back into the 80's this week again.
ReplyDeleteOh man, sounds like here but some 60s squeezed in there for a bit.
DeleteGreat Autumn colours.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I miss them! I did see a few pretty trees today, maybe if it stays in the 60s and 70s we'll get some real color.
DeleteGorgeous. But I agree, I don't like the roller coaster temperatures.
ReplyDeleteIt's the heat and humidity I can't take, but I've only seen a few nice trees a few weeks ago and again today. Rather pathetic all in all.
DeleteAutumn color here in the Ozarks is still a few weeks away. we could use a little rain and cooler night temperatures to pull the trigger.
ReplyDeleteI hope you take lots of photos, Driller.
DeleteI am relieved "it's not me imagining things". I was also wondering what happened to the autumn colours this year here in Brussels.
ReplyDeletenice shot.
Global warming? Hurricanes? There's another one called "Nate" making waves no pun intended.
DeleteHi Jeanna, I have visions of you driving along with your Mum strapped to the top of the car being aired out. I really wish I could draw! That is a lovely photo and will take some beating as a colour palette of autumn. You probably will end up going from summer to winter with no in between.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up with the #MMBC.
xx
Ha ha ha, like something you might see in a Sam Toft print. I always wished that too, Debbie. You had me chuckling for a few days when I first read your comment. Yeah, a few token trees turning and then snow I suspect.
DeleteThe colors look marvellous!! Beautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Raj, I'm secretly hoping to see something like that again before the month is over.
