And All I Got Was This Lousy Paper Crown

I used a paper crown from Christmas as a dandy's collar for Dexter (Ginger Demon God of Mischief). Yup, that's where my life's at.

This does not make me happy

  1. Aw a very tolerant cat. I used to dress mine in dolls clothes and push her in a pram when I was little!

    1. Ha ha, he might tolerate the pram but doll clothes, I don't think so.

  2. Hi Jeanna, that's funny. Dexter looks like our little dog does when he's got a collar of shame on (not sure whether to move or not). At least he kept still though... And what on earth have you still got a paper crown from Christmas hanging around for?

    1. I couldn't throw it away for some reason and there it sits on the living room floor where he shook it off.

  3. Ha he looks less than happy. I imagine getting a hat or a cat is much like putting one on a child.

    1. He is a big baby and it's better than the cupid costume I had in mind.

  4. Haha! He doesn't look impressed. My two would be suitably unimpressed too!

  6. Lol we used to do things like that to our childhood cat too, and then watch him attack it to get out.

  9. Haha that's so funny, I told my husband I wanted to get one of those lion manes for our ginger cat, not sure we could get it on him but I'd love to try #mysundayphoto

    1. That would be hilarious, Lins. Please let me know if you do! I was kicking around some Cupid ideas for him.

  11. And Dexter wishes it were not... he wants you to take that thing off of him and go outside and play or something ... or maybe go get him a fish from that lake as a peace offering. :>)

  12. He's treated like a king (so why not a crown). He's curled up next to me listening to the nightly news digesting a bit of cheeseburger right now.
