Happy Happy Joy Joy The Week Is Almost Over

Dealing with a landlord who wants you to "take a vacation" while they rip out the stairs to your loft (where the bedroom and bathroom are) is no cause for joy (or sleep) but it is at the top of a  list called: Cause For Concern.
Do you suspect your neighbor is stuffing dead bodies into the wall and if so why does it smell like cheese?
Is your newly healthy lifestyle actually killing you?
Is this dog your best friend?

Please say, "yes." Please say, "yes."

Oliver seems to be happy, maybe he knows something I don't (he definitely does).
There comes a time when you have to throw up your hands and say "f*$# it!" then put on some Ren & Stimpy.

That time is now.

    1. I agree, Oliver has been on vacation since he lost his older brother and I think although he misses him he's enjoying being the only pup. He gets lots more walkies and attention now. We are going to paint the town tomorrow and he's going to love it. But I certainly don't have autumn vacation money so my landlord is dreaming when they asked me to go on one while they rip apart my place. Let's put it this way, if I could afford to take a vacation I wouldn't be living here.

  2. Dang, what's a vacation? We're not familiar with that word. Yes, that pup is totally adorable. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

    1. That's what I'm asking Brian. Actually vacations are for other people. Can you imagine trying to take one with the kitties, lol. Glamping maybe? Scritches and tuna smells to the gang.

    1. I've got him right now, conked out like a stuffed toy at my feet. Of course he was up and bouncing around like Ren & Stimpy minutes ago.

    1. It's more the having no place to go for a week plus that's disconcerting. I hope your remodeling goes well, maybe you can spend more time on the boat?

  6. When I come to that point that I throw up my hands, Ren and Stimpy does not play a part. I am more like the movie Risky Business, "sometimes you just have to say, WTF"! haha...As to your questions ~ my dog (male dog) is my best friend (haha, NO I am not a loner, I am a very social person)..as for the rest ~ Well I live in a zero lot line home, attached to one person and I really hope that she is not stuffing bodies in the walls that runs between us! I would think it would smell worse then cheese!!Okay, I have to ask myself, WHAT HEALTHY LIFESTYLE!? haha....Enjoyed.

    1. I feel like a hammer to the head might just help. Ha, I haven't thought about that movie for some time but it's a classic for sure. Is that Dakota? The picture of him wiped out on the couch is really funny. Not cheese in a good way but in some terribly wrong way. I've been walking and working out and eating more healthily and I've ended up with two torn tendons and a wonky ankle in the process. Like today for instance, I was convinced that nature was out to kill me for just being in it.

  7. For me, it's a marathon of Sudoku, online jigsaw puzzles, and watching TV comedies. Big hugs, Jeana.

    1. Uh oh, isn't that off limits for you, Susie Mac, the jigsaw puzzles I mean. I'm currently catching up on the last season of The Walking Dead on Netflix, I find the zombie extras funny (or the zombies extra funny). I'm listening to a most excellent radio show that plays lots of B sides from the 50s and 60s with a knackered pooch lying on my feet right now so that's like a hug. Thanks, Susie.

  11. Jeanna, I shared your plight with hubby. he is of the opinion that if you are paying rent, they can't ask you to be somewhere else ("vacation"), unless they provide a place for you! I think, they can't ask you to go "somewhere else" if you are paying rent, so they should reduce the rent while they are messing up your place!I wouldn't be too much giving in, because you do have the choice to live somewhere else!
Sorry this is happening to you! Hope you can think of a solution. I appreciate you are open to sharing a negative experience with All Seasons! hope you have some good news this week!
