    1. It was a fun group of second and third generation Italian cousins, Bri. Can I call you Bri? Oliver was a furry Roomba.

    1. It was a LOT of work, J but there was a mountain of cookies when we were done. Those can be fun, it's interesting to see the kind of cookies people like to make.

  7. You have the cutest floor manager who gets all the perks of dropped cookies! Well done to making a ton of traditional cookies. I'd like to try one!

    1. Isn't he though, Oliver is forever on the prowl for dropped crumbs. They are a fun tradition and since I don't like that kind of cookie there's not much chance of me blowing my diet to scarf them down. It was a pretty good kitchen crew.

    1. I don't know, Sallie, neither my mother nor I like these cookies. I love black licorice but keep it the hell outta my cookies. It's the first time I joined in, I think...

    1. It is, but I wish my immediate family or the Irish side did something like this. We will be wrapping crap in plastic soon, the Irish cousins and I, maybe tomorrow even who knows, I can't keep track. Since none of them read this I'll just say it, the Irish side is a lot more fun.

  12. I so want to be a part of your big Italian family. My birth father was Italian but I was raised by wolves so I missed out. Love the floor manager... send cookies. LeeAnna and Milo (who aspires to be a floor manager)
Oh, a quick story that led to a family joke, dh made a suggestion to a co-worker who complained to her boss about it saying "he's not my manger" so now when we hear the word manager we think of Christmas

    1. Well, I'm not sure you really want that. Maybe in the sixties when grandma and grandpa were alive and five cousins and three families lived in a big house grandpa built with fruit trees, a big vegetable garden and flowers everywhere. There was also a spacious yet cozy all season porch, six bedrooms, a magical walk in closet, a fireplace, a huge basement with a wine cellar, bar and beautiful wooden poker table, another kitchen in the basement (a house with three kitchens, one on every floor).
Tell the wolves awww woooo which means they did a good job.
I could have but I'd hate to send something I don't like myself.
Ha, that's a very positive thing to associate with that word.
I may have mentioned this, but the Irish side is more fun.
