It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...
Sunny, happy photos. Those dogs of yours are cute.

I wish every dog was mine, but I'm only a pet sitter, waah. This is a great spot for a hot pooch that loves water.
DeleteWhat a fun outing. Loved the "wet dog" shot.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice for both of us, Ida. This guy, Gunner, was just going along with his mom, dad, and dog sister. I'm not sure how much German Shepherds like to swim.
DeleteOur family had a German Shepherd years ago and she loved to swim. Our daughter has a big black lab and she swims with us now.
ReplyDeleteShe did? I didn't know they cared about the water. One of my friends grew up on the lake and her Shepherd would go for a swim now and again, but acted like, meh. Ha, ha, I guess I'm used to labs.
DeleteLove German Shepherds. Ours is Roxy. She's solid black.
ReplyDeleteShe sounds pretty and unique, Teresa.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun jaunt!
ReplyDeleteIt's usually a good time even with all the weekend people, Kim.
DeleteKim, your link is messed up.
DeleteGreat shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jim.
DeleteLooks like a fun day out :)
ReplyDeleteI think I had the best time when I was snapping photos, I'm sure u know what I mean.
DeleteThose are some dynamite pictures! Wow, I could almost feel the coolness of the beautiful blue water. I've never seen blue water in person, but I will... some day.... I will. Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteDevils Lake is one of the few lakes I'll swim in any more and except for the occasional swimmer's itch warning, pretty sweet, Marie. I think the best lakes r still way up north though.
DeleteHi, thanks for sharing your happy moments! Thanks also for your visit and comment. Bricks cannot bow themselves, but a brickwall can. The use of wall anchors is an old way of securing floors so that they can't fall down. Now builders use other ways to prevent walls from breaking.
ReplyDeleteI am not familiar with these building methods.
Have a great week.
Wil, ABCW Team
Hi RW, so putting them in a wall is what causes the bow and those cool anchor braces prevent that...That is very cool and interesting, that's for letting me know about the old process. You have a great week, too, Wil.
DeleteWhat a beautiful place to spend the day!
ReplyDeleteIt's got a few go-to spots no matter how crowded and a warm summer Father's Day is going to be packed. But I agree, Tamar.
DeleteI loved the place, seems like you had too much fun
ReplyDeleteWell it was mostly driving since my mother has a hard time getting around and enjoys sitting in the car and AC listening to Frank Sinatra, Sanchita. But I do love getting out and about taking photos. Dogs, water, and photography, the trifecta.
DeleteAnd a fun time was had by all!
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, I remember putting that on a story freshman year in college. The professor was not amused.
DeleteLooks like a lovely spot.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up at Raising My Boys!
It is despite the crowd, Deborah. People have a tendency to be so happy I've never had any real issues, especially away from the main parking lots and beaches.
DeleteLooks like a great lake to play in.
ReplyDeleteSarah and Shadow
I love that there are nothing but a few trolling motors allowed, Shadow. It's mostly kayaks. I take my raft and pack water and snacks.
DeleteGracias, Francisco, you have a great week as well.
ReplyDeleteI love Devil's Lake. It's been a few years since I was there last.
ReplyDeleteSince I'm close tho Hwy 12 it makes it pretty tempting to stop by a few times a year at least. Have u been in the fall, breathtaking.
DeleteLooks like a lovely day...your mom might not remember the day, but she'll remember the warmth of company!
ReplyDeleteI hopes she remembers this one, she is still talking about it days later and really looks forward to these little weekend road trips.
DeleteYou have a wonderful photo blog. Cheers to your Mom for getting out there at 91!
ReplyDeleteShe gets pretty antsy and this seems to be the best medicine, Zippi. She's actually a contributor to this blog.
DeleteThe long pier is like a life's journey. Love the cool wet images here.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Colleen. I was thinking it looked like a long journey after a 40 minute ride and knee cramps.
Deletewonderful outing. cheers to the second contributor to this blog :-)
ReplyDeleteTa, Klara, I'll tell her that, she ha another story to be posted in the upcoming weeks.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures. So much fun :) Pawkisses for a Happy WW :) <3
ReplyDeletePawkisses are the best, angelswhisper.
DeleteI think I would have had to jump in, looks too tempting
ReplyDeleteMollyxxx
I would have if I didn't have my mom chilling in the car listening to Frank Sinatra. This is one of my fav swimming holes, only from the other side of the lake.
Deleteehmehgerd, Gunnar!
ReplyDeleteGunnar was just along for the ride. That's what happens when your dog brother is a golden retriever and there's water.
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy day!
ReplyDeleteIt was, Nance.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great spot! Looks like you all had a fabulous day in the sun!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a great day! Franky is adorable and looks like he had a lot of fun on his first day swimming! :)
ReplyDeleteAll the dogs at that spot love it. I wish I were there now, Mandy.
Deleteseems like a fun day :)
ReplyDeleteIt would have been more fun if I'd got to spend it all outside rather than in the car, NF.
