I drove to Kettle Morraine State Forest and the trip there was more fun than the destination. Mostly because I got a late start then dawdled. Let's hear it for dawdling, hip hip, oh look a daylilly, let me get my camera.
A farmer and his wife, Bonnie, came out to get the horses to pose for the photo below.

interesting series of pictures indeed..
ReplyDeleteThree things I'm thinking about this week, Indah.
ReplyDeleteI think the best way to really see a new place is on foot. Great shot of the horse.
ReplyDeleteThey were being cooperative when they got treats.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful horses! And also love the dam and the statue:) Had to visit, because of your similar name!
ReplyDeleteThat's right, but how did u know that? I've always been called "Jeanna" and only Jeanette by nuns and bratty little boys, lol. I guess there's an online footprint I'm not paying much attention to.
ReplyDeleteCute horses! I love the sound of running water.
ReplyDeleteThe owners came out and gave them hay I think so they were especially cute for the camera and food. I do too, Gunilla.
DeleteChaz is a great model! The water shot is fantastic
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alycia, he was highly motivated by his owner bribing him with grass or hay or some lovely nosh.
