It's so hot I hoped for a tornado just to feel a breeze |
It's so hot the squirrels are dipping their nuts in Snow Cones
It's so hot even carousel horses are drinking water
It's so hot I saw a bird picking up worms with oven mitts
It's so hot cows are giving evaporated milk
It's so hot black bears are dressing in white
It's so hot fish are already fried when you catch them
It's so hot the Piggly Wiggly logo is beginning to look delicious
It's so hot my sweat is sweating
It's so hot you can fry an egg on shaved ice
It's so hot I saw a camel giving the sun the finger
"She's so flippin' hot. She's like a curry."
It does sound hot! Hope you get some relief soon!
ReplyDeleteIt seemed a little better today, Jandi, but then I spent most of it in air conditioning and a pool.
DeleteSend you a cool breeze.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Germany
Thanks, Mascha, sending you some humidity and some cheese curds.
DeleteOh! That is hot!
ReplyDeleteI am happy with + 26ยบ Celsius.
Yeah, Villrose that would be nice, I'm happiest between mid 60s to mid 70s fahrenheit. But it could snow tomorrow and no one would be too surprised.
DeleteIt sure is HOT this year. I must say this is one of the many songs that I've never heard. You sure got my day off to a happy start...thanks for sharing this hot tune. Stay cool and I hope to see you again soon.
ReplyDeleteHey Tom we have to stop meeting like this. I first heard it on the Flight of the Concords TV series and then found some of their songs on mp3. They have the best videos to go with some pretty hilarious songs. Oh yeah, how hot is it?
DeleteIt's that hot here too. Good ones.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a fabulous Silly Sunday. ☺
I'd rather not talk about it. But it turned out to be a better Enough is Enough Monday.
DeleteHot here but no complaints!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, Jackie.
Deletesending you some reprieve from africa :)

Thanks Angie you can throw a snowball my way too.
DeleteMust be summer in Wisconsin (just a guess -- I'm psychic that way ;>)/// Going to go to 90s here in western Oregon this weekend -- that's really hot for around here (but since it was already hotter than that in Florida when we left in early June, we are not too bothered).
ReplyDeleteOy yeah it is. Was always cold and rainy the times I visited OR. Bet all that green is feeling a little challenged. Fla in June, no thanks.
Deleteha, ha, those explanations of hot a hilarious. I could use some of that hotness here.
ReplyDeleteReally, my knowledge of geography is appalling, Klara. You're in Belgium? I'm picturing mild summer weather, oui?
DeleteSmiled about the squirrels and the curry - those spoke most to me. Many thanks for sharing this hotness with SEASONS!Am enjoying your witty posts:):) Have a great week:)
ReplyDeleteJust installed a thermometer by the door, because it's reaching the triple digits since the weekend! The purpose is to prevent hubby from working too long outside - this is my "evidence" (haha)
It's so hot squirrels and curry are speaking to you? That is hot. You better stand by with plenty of water or a hose or something.
DeleteI'm glad I live where I am. It hasn't got that hot yet. That's a funny poem. I love it.
ReplyDeleteJust a 12 pack of old jokes, Susie, but ta.
DeleteI had to give it a miss. "The style of music didn't speak to me., Do forgive me and continue joining us at the weekly photo linkup at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteNot a Bret and Germain fan then, Sue.
Delete/very cool.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the fun at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/07/bottoms-up.html
I think the pre tornadic activity photo got overshadowed.
ReplyDeleteHot shot. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was hot but not as insufferable as it has been here lately. I remember thinking, "tornado" and thankfully got home safe and sound.
DeleteOr, as I've heard said by Samoans "It's sooo hot"
ReplyDeleteThey're probably not saying that now, Rhonda, lol. LOVE your street art collaborations.
DeleteIt is the opposite here - cold , wind and rain but no snow.
ReplyDeleteYou always seem to be dealing with mud, Trish.
DeleteOh yeah I hear you. Same here.
ReplyDeleteMakes me appreciate weather in the 80s like I never have, Ida.
DeleteFreezing cold here. I am so ready for Summer, maybe not the scorching days. It would be good to feel the warmth of the sun though.
ReplyDeleteThrow a snowball for me Alicia?
