The city creates a world of tulips around the Capitol that heralds spring |
As if they needed labels.
*It's estimated that 26,500 bulbs are planted every fall outside the Capitol. It rains frenzied tulip fans when the flowers bloom, are cut, then set aside. Well done, Wisconsin State Capitol Building groundskeepers.

Beautiful photos.....fabulous colours!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
The groundskeeping is always outstanding around the Capitol, especially at Easter, DW.
ReplyDeleteOh, you made me smile...thanks!
ReplyDeleteI've seen tulips in natural habitat only 3X yet, some even black ones are growing like weeds in a park in Sweden. Beautiful, but it is very expensive here in my country as we only import them from the temperate climates.
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting, Kalantikan, I won't take them for granted so much the next time I see them.
DeleteI'll let Bob know the next time I see him, Tom.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet and lovely :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Birgitta, pretty racy wire you shot, lol.
DeleteHello, love the cute pup and the sweet shot of the little one with the flowers. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's almost over, Eileen. Yeah, Bob Barker is a cute one, although he prefers the term "handsome." He's not speaking to me at the moment but looks adorable even when he's pouting.
DeleteI want to grow a pooch like that in my garden
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha, well, Carol, you wouldn't say that if you knew him.
DeleteSuch a clever layout and post! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie and Joel Smith, it's a thinly veiled attempt to hide my blooming ignorance.
ReplyDeleteLOL, nice ones!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking part in the Floral Friday Fotos meme. I hope to see more of your work soon.
I need a macro lens, Nick, I just don't like how my flower photos are turning out.
