  1. Summer may be gone, but it's had a good run this year. It's still feels like summer and fall will be a welcomed change soon. Thanks for pairing these fotos and with this tune this week. I hope that you stop back again soon.

    1. I'd like to skip the winter altogether, Tom. Guess WI isn't the ideal place to do that. You know I will.

  2. If it's too hot to walk, summer is not over yet:):) Am resisting it, because the summer this year was delightful (not so hot and dry as last year, oh yeah, and it ended with a big fire in Sept. where we almost had to evacuate!) Love this post and thank you for sharing it with SEASONS! Have a great week and happy for the new socks:)

    1. I was hanging on to that last shred of reasoning, J. As I'm writing this I have to wonder cuz it got a LOT cooler and autumny overnight. Dry is not a good thing for you guys over der, hey.

  3. Lovely photos. My summer is gone too. It was a cooler, shorter summer than last year and I preferred the cooler, wetter temperatures to the excessive heat. Nice that we can look forward to change of seasons. Enjoy your Fall.

    1. You do the same, Joyful. As much as I detest the heat, it's always too short. I know there's a joke in there somewhere but I'm too full of pumpkin bars and pessimism to find one.

    1. And I envy you lot for it Deborah. I hope you don't spend too much time indoors today but I know either way you'll find something interesting.

    1. Thanks, Mitzi, there's a lot of scenery nearby and I'm determined to take a closer look this fall. We've had quite the temp shift this week but I'll take cooler and rainy any day. What's your fall like Mitzi, the crocodiles turn color?

  12. I don't blame you for feeling bad that summer is pretty much over. It is always too short a season, even when you live in a more moderate climate than Wisconsin. I visited your other (candy) blog and now I am very hungry and there is not a state fair or carnival in sight. I may have to make do with the ice cream shop down the block.

    1. You make a good point about labor day and the kids going back to school even if it doesn't directly affect you, I feel that's officially the end of summer myself. You visited the ol' Dish, eh? Well thanks for that, I've got a few posts I've been meaning to get together but, meh. It makes me pretty hungry as well and I know photographing changing seasons is a lot healthier than the candy line up I have planned (: Nothing wrong with ice cream. I've been so lazy this summer I wouldn't even climb the stairs to the Babcock Ice Cream Store. Hope you have a beautiful time this week and your iPad post looked great.
