The long holiday saw festivals, horseplay and a great blue sky looking spectacular against midway rides. So many adorable red, white and blue outfits and rides many of us wouldn't go on for a bucket of fries.

Big Rope Little Dog
It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...

I thought when Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone in the first quarter of that Viking game in mid-October it was some kind of karmic paymen...

ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't love a midway at that age?
DeleteLooks like fun!
ReplyDeleteYes and no, parking is never fun, but I think I hit a few nice fests.
DeleteThat sure looks like a grand time and I'll bet those fries were yummy! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteIt seemed kind of hot for fries at that festival, but thankfully never too hot for brats.
DeleteHello, love the cute little ones. I hope your 4th holiday was wonderful. The shot of the water and flags is great. Have a happy day and weekend ahead!
ReplyDeleteYou too Eileen and hope you had a splendid anniversay.
DeleteLooks like a lot of fun
ReplyDeleteMOllyx
I mostly remember the walking, lol.
DeleteAren't the reflections beautiful on the water...lots of red white and blue! Looks like FUN!
ReplyDeleteThey sure were and there was a hole in one golf contest off to the right of that shot so people were waiting on a bench and trying to drop their ball in a bucket in the water.
DeleteLooks like fun to me and who can resist a bucket of fries?! Not me!!!! Thanks for linking up today and have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteSomehow I managed, but then I walked out of the midway straight to a brat stand.
DeleteGreat photos. I love the first one with the flags reflecting in the water. I also like all the bright colors you captured. For some reason July 4th to me is all about bright colors.
ReplyDeleteIt is to me as well, Yogi, but for some reason I like the midway best in black and white. Stay tuned.
DeleteLove the reflections of all the flags in the first shot
ReplyDeleteI didn't put that up at first but there was a little something about it I liked too.
DeleteFine flag reflections in your first shot. Looks like a good time at at the carnival.
ReplyDeleteI did like that one, especially since I didn't go too far into the belly of the beast, aka, the beer tent.
DeleteWonderful summer shots! I can smell the popcorn!!
ReplyDeleteFunny, kettle corn was one of the things that really tempted me. And sadly enough I've come to know the kettle corn guy at most of the festivals.
DeleteBeautiful summer shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think of the Fourth as midsummer even though it's more like early August. For me, the days around the Fourth epitomize summer.
DeleteNice shots! I like the reflections in the top and bottom photos.
ReplyDeleteGood eye, I didn't think anyone would catch the reflection in the bottom photo.
