Ten Dollar Pepsi
These are a few photos from Game 6 of the NLCS last night in Milwaukee. At one point I had to put down my $10 Pepsi so I could flip off some particularly obnoxious Brewers fans with both hands.
Guilted me into tipping him a buck after I paid $9.00 for a Pepsi
Ryu could have warmed up until the cows came home he still allowed 5 runs in 3 innings
Full of beer unless milked three times a day
Suffice it to say my team did not fare well and by the end of the game, I felt compelled to start screaming, "I love you!" to Yasil Puig. At least I think that's what I was saying, I was screaming in Spanish.
But for now, Game 7 is coming up in less than five minutes so, "It's time for Dodger's baseball!"
Hi Jeanna, $9.00 plus tip for a Pepsi??? It's not even a Coco cola! It wouldn't have been half so bad had your team done well, so I don't blame you for double flipping a windup merchant, but I'm not sure I could have bought myself to put the Pepsi down... What an unfortunate placelemt of udders on that young lads costume, I love the way he's walking like it's completely normal... Maybe it is?
Yeah, I really wanted a Coke. Ugh, they sucked and sucked bad, however, the next day! Haaa, I didn't really look at the placement but ya know, it wasn't all that unusual, especially for this time of year.
I didn't expect them to win and wanted to force just one more game, but they are great in the clutch, it's where they live and they did it when it counted most.
You have no idea, P@MVW, a buck 70 for the ticket, snacks, gas, $10 buck sodi pop. Even though I thought they'd lose and wanted them to play one more game, it was tougher than I thought. And a belated thank you for sending luck across the big pond, whatever Lake Michigan is and into the outfield because win they did. #WorldSeries
When I heard who was heading for the World Series, I thought of you, Jeanna. Whoo-hooo! I still recall the ball rolling through Bill Buckner's legs. Poor dude.
Sussssiiieeee! I gotta get over there to yer blog hey doncha know. Kind of exhausted and full of Halloween candy and so many photos to go through. Oy. Woooo hooo, mf, it's another chance at the World Series for our boys in blue. You remember BB I think the 80s were the last time the Brewers were any good before this. I've heard the reference from time to time, ouch. That's like a classic anxiety nightmare you'd have instead of going to class naked forgetting to study for the final or your teeth and hair falling out. But it's real. Red Sox, bastards.
Talk about anxiety. Watching the 1986 World Series was the only thing that could distract me and keep me calm at that moment in time. It also got me to being a baseball fanatic for a while there. Giants and the A's were my guys.
Oh yeah? We're talking Braves, right? I think because it had the logo on it. I've actually yet to wash the thing, shame on me. It got kicked around by people walking back and forth the whole game and even ended up in the row ahead of us at one point.
Sorry for your team - next time better! Well, I'm glad it was a cow costume, and not something else! Am not a ball fan, except for a knitting ball, oh, and since I'm Dutch am I supposed to be a soccer fan? Anyways, you seemed to have had fun:):) Have a great week!
It tasted like guilt, lol, cuz that ticket was NOT cheap. I always have the urge and you'd be surprised how many people dress up like cows this time of year. Bet I can easily find three other photos.
Please don't link your blog in the comments or it will be deleted. Your comment, not your blog, but wouldn't that be unsettling? Blog Hop Links are in the sidebar.
Shame the game didn't go your team's way! Better luck next time. I'm still in shock about that cow costume. #mysundayphoto

It was a bit of a sticker shock.

ReplyDeleteOops, I think I let some spam get through.
DeleteExciting game maybe but $10 for acoke is a rip off where ever you are! Great costume.
ReplyDeleteCostume? I think that's what the kid always wears (: Dairy state and all.
DeleteLOL @ the cow outfit :-) I liked the pics
ReplyDeleteHave a milktastic week :-)
And I finally picked up more milk today or as Edwina Monsoon says, "Mil ick."
DeleteOuch! that is expensive! I was surprized at how affordable the food was at our new stadium.

DeleteA family, haaaa. People cows? Wearing beads?
DeleteSo cool that you got to go. Very nice.
