Even if you got through all those photos know that I almost posted more, so, restraint. And Go Steelers. Yeah, you heard me.
But forget football because March is mad and baseball's on deck and whether or not your bracket is busted and you forgot your live draft ending up with three catchers and five middle relievers, it's time to
SAY CHEESE!
That's a lot of green happy and we agree, go Steelers!
ReplyDeleteI didn't pay all that much attention last season especially since football here was pretty depressing considering the Packer's craptastic season. But I still love The Buss and Little Willy and Alan Faneca and Bill Cower and of course Troy P.
DeleteLove your parade photos! My grandkids love to go to parades. I think they love the candy scrambles every time someone throws a handful of candy.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they do I used to love it too and we throw money at weddings so that was fun to scramble for as well.
DeleteNothing beats spreading the joy out over a few days...the kids look like they are having a good time.
ReplyDeleteAnd there were a LOT of them too, Rose.
DeleteHow fun and everyone looks so happy. That's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. ♥
It was a long day, I'm glad I didn't have to walk and toss candy and beads and take photos as I've done in the past. But, yes, it's a pretty happy event, Sandee.
DeleteWhat fun!!
ReplyDeleteNothing like in Boston I'm sure, but pretty, pretty, pretty festive.
DeleteWhat joyous photos LQQKED like everyone had fun by all the big smiles heheh!
ReplyDeleteHave a shamrocktastic week :-)........CHEESE
They were grubbing for candy, Steve. Hey, you said, "Cheese." Cheers, thanks a lot.
DeleteLove the kid with the mo. Cute!
ReplyDeleteHe had a cool baseball back pack that looked like a freebie, wish I knew where he got it.
DeleteLots of people had so much fun!!
ReplyDeleteAnd it went on for hours, Karen.
DeleteLooks like a wonderful time. Very cool. And believe it or not even though I am a huge Niner fan, I root for Aaron Rodgers because he went to Cal. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteAh, not because he's one of the best QBs to play the game? (; No matter how much the Packers suck there's still Aaron Rodgers. It was a gorgeous day here, hope you're having a good spring break there.
DeleteSweet shots!
ReplyDeletePun intended?
DeleteLots of happy faces! Looks like FUN!
ReplyDeleteAnd it wasn't snowing!
DeleteKids are always so much fun to photograph! Am having a smiley time just looking at each of them - each so different - some are wild, some funny, some like miniture adults! Yea, this is "Say cheese!" Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHa, they really were a hoot and it was fun not having to walk around with a camera and long lens and camera pack. Too bad I can't take photos from the back of a car all the time.
DeleteLooks like a fun St. Paddy's Day!!!
ReplyDeleteIt starts first thing if you're a runner (which I'm not) and then singing in the Capitol, decorating the car and handing out beads and scarves and temporary tatts to get our Irish on and then the parade. After that it's food and drink and more sing a longs and bands and Irish dancers and phew, I'm still tired.
DeleteWere you on a float? Where ever you are standing, you got great shots of happy people. :-)
ReplyDeleteNo float but that would be a hoot. One of my friends had an Irish family float from which many of them fell off, beers in hand. I was riding in the back of my cousin's car while she tried to not run over kids diving after candy. It was the perfect way to get lots of crowd photos and much easier than walking around the square trying to get photos while throwing beads and candy.
DeleteI put my pesto recipe on your blog ... it's all green, good for St. Patrick! :))
ReplyDeleteI just got a book called, "What Do I Eat Now?" delivered to my door, Ella and I went back to look at your recipe too. Everything in your pesto recipe is something that I like so yes, I will be trying it. Now to find my blender.
DeleteHello, love all the cute smiling faces. The parade looks like a fun time for all. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't snowing, just a bit chilly with sunshine and free candy for the kids so what's not to like. It's one of the times you get to see family throughout the year too.
DeleteLooks like everyone had a great time! ☺ We always say "Cheese" around here, along with wine. Thank you for hosting this link party. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteCheese and wine, sigh, maybe I'll be able to imbibe at some point. My sister is off of wine for the moment too.
DeleteFun and festive photos! I love the one of the boy with green hair.
ReplyDeleteThose two were fun, I couldn't get a good shot of them when I was walking around so happy to see them again as we drove around the square.
DeleteThose are some great faces and fantastic smiles! Thank you so much for linking up to My Corner of the World this week!
ReplyDeleteThings look better when you're Irish, Betty.
Deletelove a good parade and the happiness it instills
ReplyDeleteMe too, it's like being in the middle of a circus.
DeleteLots of happy people and I LOVE it! Thanks for linking up today!
ReplyDeleteIt got very crowded quite quickly and we were happy that it did.
DeleteI am alive and well now for sure and thanks for this post and the linkup. So behind in visiting, was in such a dither all last week trying to catch up after being “out sick” and then having trouble with my linky thingies ... and, in real life, getting ready to go away for a few days, even tho I really still just wanted to stay home and blog and sleep. But we went and had fun and I think it cured me ... except I’m still behind on my blog visits.
ReplyDeleteShe is....A LIIIIVE! I'm really behind too as evidenced by me just getting back to people from last week's link up. I'm glad you could go but sometimes we really do have to stay home and sleep.
