Ah Zabenya Game Baby

My cousin and I caught a half-price mid-week Brewer's game yesterday (6-3 Cardinals) and one of the highlights of the game was the Ay Zabenya baby raise from The Lion King.

My last visit to Miller Park was a playoff game which the Dodgers lost (although they continued on to another miserable World Series) and I don't remember any flying babies

Ahhh Zabenya!

Young Paul here is my cousin's husband's cousin (got that?) and is doing quite well in the majors

Linking up with Dragonstar's The Weekend in Black and White and Brian's Thankful Thursday.
Taken with my little pocket Lumix.

    1. I hadn't seen it before and thought it pretty funny when women handed off their babies to complete strangers because they could raise them higher. Milwaukee really does seem like a big little town sometimes.

    1. Sure, 1/2 price tickets for good seats and wait service, DS. And it's always a nice day for a ball game when you've got a dome.

  4. Love the video. The music is awesome.

I've not gone to a baseball game in such a long time. Good times.

    1. You're in California or Florida? If Cali, lots o baseball and if in Fla, it's the home of the worst and best team in the MLB right now.

  10. Your cousin's husband's cousin? Oh my poor head is creaking and squirming on this Monday morning of the mental gymnastics (I'll get it figured out some time today!!) But it seems you had fun viewing this game:):) You are inventive and bring a different flavor to All Seasons and your posts are appreciated! Have a great week!

  11. How did it get to be baseball season? Seems to me you were moaning about the Dodgers losing the Series yesterday. Did you hear about the new Lion King movie? I suppose it's based on the musical. Do you think they'll have people playing the animals. Your little wake-up call to me had me laughing, thanks. :-)

    1. Well it's been baseball season since February 21 ! Yes, and I'm still moaning about the Dodgers and their pathetic display the last two Series. We just missed them by going to that cheap game too. Not only were they there the day after but they were there for a Game of Thrones night. But it was fun and I do love 1/2 price seats.
So the play based on the animated film is being made into a live action movie? I didn't hear anything about that. I'm pretty excited about Avengers End Game right now.
Glad you woke up and smelled the garden, Susie.

  13. i did get that, yep. Because we both come from big families and have plenty of shirtsleeve relations. However none of them are major league! Your little pocket cam does good work...maybe it has something to do with the operator?

    1. It seemed so simple to me, Sallie, lol. I remember trying to diagram my family in grade school, even for Catholics we had a big one. I don't know, it's more that it's lightweight, easy to hold and I always have it on me.
