We had these lake faring dogs to entertain us while waiting an insane amount of time for a BLT and a fish sandwich |
I wondered what the best boat dog was as I watched these two lolling about their pontoon and found this article from BoatU.S. for three good candidates: The Novia Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, the Schipperke, and the Portuguese Water Dog, a breed I've always wanted to hang out with.
DisemBARK and c'me 'ere because it's time to SAY CHEESE!
Some pups love boats and others not so much. At one time our yacht club had lots of pups. They have all gone to the bridge. Sorry you had to wait so long for your food.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
The doggie is cute, it must love going out on the boat. Enjoy your day, have a great new week ahead.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that dog's name is Skipper?!?!
ReplyDeleteWe call them BBQ boats because they usually have a BBQ on the back.
ReplyDeleteNice photo and nothing worse than waiting ages for a BLT heheh! but glad the dogs entertained you :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a BLTtastic week :-)
I hope the sandwiches were worth the wait!
ReplyDeleteNever crossed my mind, but I wouldn't mind being on that boat. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! I have lots of recipes I'll never make too!
ReplyDeleteI have to click on the link to see why you would never make it!
ReplyDeletePorties are related to the poodle, and so cute! Milo votes for those.
ReplyDeleteI like cheese but that cheese boat recipe looks too rich for me!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful time. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind having a retriever, if Molly the Cat would be okay with it.
ReplyDeleteMy sister's dogs are constantly jumping in her pool. It drives her crazy.
ReplyDeleteAnother great recipe I won't ever make, either!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are a part of 'My Corner of the World' this week!
