Warm Weather Walkies

I've started my warm weather walking routine at the Old Farts park in Middleton again and the Rat Boys couldn't be happier. Lots to see, smell and try to eat (you're watching both ends with these two).

Handsome Bob pretends he's a sea captain on the pier behind the gazebo

Treat treats in your pocket there are treats, pocket treats, my treats, treats treats treats

It was fun to use the Toy Effect Filter on these new flowers

Bobby Boy looking for a nice patch of mud

The Rat Boys watched the progress of these two with interest and Handsome Bob was over the moon when they stopped to say, "Hi."

    1. It was our first walk of the season and all three of us seemed to be in about the same shape, lol.

  3. Your Rat Boys are cuties! Even Molly the Cat would purr, after the initial snarl, at them.

    1. Bob would give her a "look" then ignore her and Oliver would want to play, probably, but he might see her as a challenge.

    1. It's one of my favorite parks, although it gets a little too rowdy on the summer weekends.

    1. Me too, well most dogs. A jerk owner can make for a jerk dog.

  6. Such a gorgeous pond, who wouldn't want to be a sea captain?

    1. Ha, Bob loves nothing more than positioning himself in a place where he can see everything with the wind blowing through his fur.

  7. Love the gazebo in the distance! Like the toy effect filter:) Am curious why you call them the rat boys? They look the curious kind who get themselves in trouble? Thank you sof sharing these summery details with All Seasons!
About your comment on my post: Yes, I enjoy sitting on a patio, but here it's getting too hot for it during the day - yesterday reached 97 deg. at some points in the city. (luckily, since we live at 3000 feet it's always 10 degr. cooler, so it was nice to come home!)
    Have an adventurous week!

    1. I call them that because they are small dogs compared to the dogs I usually take care of. I didn't like small dogs until these guys. When I first saw Oliver, the tan one, he was fresh from the breeder and did indeed look like a messy little rat. Yuck, I don't much like it even in the low 80s so I can't imagine or rather I can but no thanks. Yes, you are lucky to have such a beautiful and cool location to come home to.

  8. I about laughed out loud at the treats, treats, my treats line! We had two dogs and the one would go to the door and bark as if she wanted out, and get the other one hyped to go. I would open the door, and she would step back and let the other run out. Then she would want some individual attention and a treat!

    1. That's all Oliver cared about, even to the point of being rude. I had to grab stuff out of his little mouth more than a few times too, good thing he's the gentle one of the two. That is one clever dog you had, Rose! That's like Huckleberry Hound smart.
