There was too much to see and I was not so keen on all the walking. There were a few places I wanted to check out but it had to be in or directly facing the open air. We ended up back at Gallagher Way and the sandwich I had there was incredible, so good in fact I had something similar for dinner tonight and ended up throwing most of it out.
It's a lot friendlier than I remember, or expected and the St. Louis fans were treated well (they played the Cards). Really, everyone was so nice it kind of unnerved me and that ballpark is over 100 years old with maybe the best sandwich I ever had (in Gallagher Way, that's where they were drinking the Moscow Mule).
You have? It's a whole different ballgame (ha) when you're talking about high winds. I'm not sure which part of the state you're in but hope they blow over (ha) and leave you guys alone.
Looked like a lot of fun, when you love the sports atmosphere:) Great shots, Joanna! About your comment on my blog: at home, I make my iced drinks myself:)
Greetings from the Netherlands. WiFi has been so iffy on this trip, I didn’t even try to do any blogging or even much blog reading . We are well And happy and next month I will happily catch up with all my blog friends and bore the same friends to death by blogging this bucket list trip after we return.
Ohhh is that where you've gone? I've been remiss on catching up with my friends but I'm going to go back and see what I've missed, I figured you'd be back soaking in all the greenery and farmers markets back home. How exciting, I expect plenty of photos and tales of tulips, hash bars and strong coffee. I'm glad you guys are okay and that's a pretty good thing to have on your bucket list. My top thing was going to the World Candy Expo in Chicago, done and done. I need to dream bigger.
Please don't link your blog in the comments or it will be deleted. Your comment, not your blog, but wouldn't that be unsettling? Blog Hop Links are in the sidebar.
Oh the Dad has been there and even had dinner at Harry’s restaurant!

DeleteHad to laugh at the T shirt and that big drink!
ReplyDeleteI laughed at both of them too but now I regret not taking a sip. However, the long walk to my seat would have been even more of an ordeal if I had.
DeleteLQQKED like a lot of fun I enjoyed the post and photos :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a wrigleytastic week :-)
Ha, it was a lonnnngggg arsed day that's for sure. Nice to get four of the cousins together, especially when only one of them is a Cubs fan.
DeleteWrigley is one ballpark I have never been to. Maybe next year!
