I threw some water and snacks into a Playmate cooler and planted a chair in the water last Friday. I photographed boaters against blinding light with my old Canon t3i knowing I had a new camera on the way (I've already returned it). These pictures remind me of when you lose weight and just your socks fit better. I'll take the win but, meh.

Big Rope Little Dog
It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...

I thought when Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone in the first quarter of that Viking game in mid-October it was some kind of karmic paymen...

This is hard for me to write not only because I'm broken up about Dexter's owner taking him back soon, but because being a dog perso...
...oh, not the kind of playmate I was thinking of. What great pictures! Few things beat an Irish drinking song.
ReplyDeleteHaaa, cooler, cooler I said, Tom. I am with you on that, not much beats an Irish drinking song any time of the year. In honor of the Guinness shorts doncha know.
DeleteAmazing photos! #MMBC
ReplyDeleteLove your blog title Hayley.
DeleteGreat progression in your images, and your last one is my favorite. Wow, professional enough for a commercial! A new camera is always inspirational:) Many thanks for your great share for All Seasons!
ReplyDeleteAm glad you told you had trouble to find the comments. Please, let me know where (location)the comments are located (since I can't see that), so I can add it for a few weeks in my post. I'll come back later to see what you wrote, thanks so much!
Thanks, J., I think these are almost good, but not quite. I liked the imagery though so put them up anyway. Plus I loved his Guinness shorts. I returned the new camera the day after I got it, these are taken with the old one.
DeleteThe comments are at the bottom of your post under the FB, Linked In, Tumbler buttons; Related; then tags. I have to click on the left column or the red lines box icon in the top right, right column to find comments, otherwise it's just the post and older post links. I wonder if anyone else had the same problem.
What nice captures I particularly like the third one :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a sailtastic week :-)
Cheers thanks a lot. I'm just trying not to sweat all over everything.
DeleteThese are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, hopefully I'll get there soon.

Thanks Sue.
DeleteFabulous shots!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lady F.
Deletegreat shots. I particularly like the second one.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I think the drops are too blurred and the canoe is kind of out of focus, but I like the idea of what it could have been.
DeleteGreat shots - sitting in or by water is a favorite past time.
ReplyDeleteI like to do both, as long as it's relatively clean water (so that let's the lake down the block out).
DeleteLovely and fascinating post and photos ~ Great ad for Guinness too ~ ^_^
ReplyDeleteHa, yeah it is, lol.
DeleteIt looks like a relaxing day. You got some great photos!

I've discovered I'm better at sitting still when it comes to photos rahter than running around hoping for good action shots.
DeleteI love that second photo! Way cool!
ReplyDeleteTeresa from http://nanahood.com/friends-who-pick-blueberries

This guy was Guinness strong, Erica.
DeleteBeautiful pictures makes me wish I could get out into the water.
ReplyDeleteAt least you had a Camera to take back. I miss mine as my husband
lost it and I don't think I will ever get another one.
Ohhhh nooooo, you have to get another one, Glenda! There are so many nice entry level cameras and refurbished and International versions and used. If you lived close I'd walk you over one of my old ones. If nothing else, use your phone my friend.
DeleteThank you Jeanna for the explanation of the comments. I wonder if it's the ones who have the blogspot-url. One blogger with a straight .com told me "on the bottom of the column on the right. I'll add yours, if it still does not appear. Thanks again, Friend:)
ReplyDeleteJ., do you mean you can't see the comments on your WP blog?
ReplyDeleteThat canoe looks to be light as a feather! Don't get into Wisconsin very often but plan to be at Lake Geneva for the 4th of July fireworks show.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice place if you have a boat. Lots of people from IL there.
DeleteSuch amazing & wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteJo Jeanna, you must have looked a right nutter sat in the water on a chair (my kind of person!). I do like your photos especially the drops of water falling from the boat on the second one down. How come you ended up returning your new camera? Better the devil you know?
