We Got To Move These Refrigerators

Fully stocked refrigerators, complete with ginger kitties this week only. I hadn't noticed what a hillbilly fridge I had until I took this shot of Dexter checking off another item from his Not Supposed To Do list.

    1. Nooo, hahaha. I think your poodle deserves some kind of recognition for that. If you took a picture, please post it. (Still laughing.)

  2. Your kitty looks like one I once had. They can do the most agile leaps.

    1. He amazes me and I have to laugh when he seems so tenuous just crossing the couch because of a quilt.

  3. It's hard to link where I'm now, but am going to try - thanks for the comment about the helicopter. That was when I lived in Southern California in the Los Angeles bsin - the weirdest things happen there, lol! Hope your cat can also come off the fridge by herself:) See you back Sunday!

    1. He is an incredible acrobat and a big baby at the same time. Today he's restless and giving me the stink-eye as I type this. Sadly he'll be gone again soon, this time for good I'm afraid.

    1. He's certainly interested in whatever I'm eating but knows darn well he's not supposed to be up there. But he has been talking a lot of trash when I go in the kitchen lately.

  8. LOL...great shot! Dexter reminds me of one of my cats: the late, great Herman. I eventually convinced him to stay off the fridge (it took years) but I heard my dog barking furiously one day...she knew Hermie wasn't allowed on the fridge, and she took that to mean he wasn't allowed on any high places, including the top of the furnace!

    1. Aww, Herman sounds like a character. Years? Well I only have weeks or days and I've given up anyway. Top of the furnace, I should hope not! Good pooch, keeping those unruly cat critters in line, hahaha.

    1. They sure did, I always liked the video and it's one of the first ones I remember, it might be the definitive MTV music video.

  10. he's checking off his 'I can do this no matter what she says' list -- and looks quite smug about it too! We had a wood-fronted frig in the RV we lived in for years -- and at first I didn't know what to do without being able to stick stuff on it. Now we have regular ones in both tiny places where we live -- but I've kind of broken the habit. (At least I hope we still have two places ... we're on Hurricane Irma Watch from all the way across the country.)

    1. Yes, I wonder if he knows his days here are numbered and he's living la vida loca . He does get a smug look on his face like this morning when he was loudly vocal while I was trying to sneak in an extra 20 minutes. His over night snack bowl was empty and he wanted an early breakfast.
I cleaned up the fridge since looking at this photo but it's still a bit hillbilly because I have no room and need to put stuff on top of the fridge.
Oh man, you have to let me know what Irma does. Surrounded by fires and worrying about a hurricane on the opposite of the country, hope you're finding a way to relax.

    2. I used your reply as the theme for my current post ;>)..... I don't think we deserve the "I survived Irma" TShirt since we watched from all the way across the country, but we felt like we were living it. Our cottage is still standing!

    3. It could have been a lot worse. Maybe "I Survived Irma From blank miles North But Still."

  11. He is like "Don't touch my Cocoa Puffs." I would be like that too. I love that cereal. My parents didn't use to buy it because it wasn't healthy.

    1. Dexter says, Cocoa Puffs are 9g of Sugar, 120 Calories compared to a "healthy" cereal like Raisin Bran which has 19g of Sugar, 190 Calories. Cheerios, Corn Flakes, Special K, Instant Oatmeal, Granola, are crammed with sugar so let's hear it for Cocoa Puffs. That cat knows his stuff.

    1. Sometimes he acts like the dogs in that respect, warning me when there's a weird noise in the hallway or something out of the ordinary in the parking lot. However he also looks up at the loft for no good reason, scaring the living daylights out of me.
