Big Rope Little Dog
It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...
-
I thought when Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone in the first quarter of that Viking game in mid-October it was some kind of karmic paymen...
-
This is hard for me to write not only because I'm broken up about Dexter's owner taking him back soon, but because being a dog perso...
We found our mini-poodle on the top of the fridge once!
ReplyDeleteNooo, hahaha. I think your poodle deserves some kind of recognition for that. If you took a picture, please post it. (Still laughing.)
DeleteYour kitty looks like one I once had. They can do the most agile leaps.
ReplyDeleteHe amazes me and I have to laugh when he seems so tenuous just crossing the couch because of a quilt.
DeleteIt's hard to link where I'm now, but am going to try - thanks for the comment about the helicopter. That was when I lived in Southern California in the Los Angeles bsin - the weirdest things happen there, lol! Hope your cat can also come off the fridge by herself:) See you back Sunday!
ReplyDeleteHe is an incredible acrobat and a big baby at the same time. Today he's restless and giving me the stink-eye as I type this. Sadly he'll be gone again soon, this time for good I'm afraid.
DeleteLOL @ a not supposed to do list, he's king of the castle :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a dextertastic week :-)
I will, sniff. He's sitting next to me all unsuspecting that he's leaving me soon, although he is acting a little weird.
Delete...oh yes, Dire Straits, this is great. Dexter the guard cat sure looks like he means business. Is there a password that is need to raid the fridge? Thanks for stopping by, how about coming again.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
DeleteWhat a awesome kitty and great photo ~ ~ thanks, ^_^
ReplyDelete(A Shutterbug Explores)
He is pretty awesome, Carol, and it's going to be tough to lose him.
DeleteKitty is guarding the food. Does he let you have any?
ReplyDeleteHe's certainly interested in whatever I'm eating but knows darn well he's not supposed to be up there. But he has been talking a lot of trash when I go in the kitchen lately.
DeleteAwwww - sweet shot.
ReplyDeleteHe is sweet, for a demon kitty.
DeleteLOL...great shot! Dexter reminds me of one of my cats: the late, great Herman. I eventually convinced him to stay off the fridge (it took years) but I heard my dog barking furiously one day...she knew Hermie wasn't allowed on the fridge, and she took that to mean he wasn't allowed on any high places, including the top of the furnace!

An Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel
Aww, Herman sounds like a character. Years? Well I only have weeks or days and I've given up anyway. Top of the furnace, I should hope not! Good pooch, keeping those unruly cat critters in line, hahaha.
DeleteI hated that song. It was so popular -- they played the video all the time.
ReplyDeleteThey sure did, I always liked the video and it's one of the first ones I remember, it might be the definitive MTV music video.
Deletehe's checking off his 'I can do this no matter what she says' list -- and looks quite smug about it too! We had a wood-fronted frig in the RV we lived in for years -- and at first I didn't know what to do without being able to stick stuff on it. Now we have regular ones in both tiny places where we live -- but I've kind of broken the habit. (At least I hope we still have two places ... we're on Hurricane Irma Watch from all the way across the country.)
ReplyDeleteYes, I wonder if he knows his days here are numbered and he's living la vida loca . He does get a smug look on his face like this morning when he was loudly vocal while I was trying to sneak in an extra 20 minutes. His over night snack bowl was empty and he wanted an early breakfast.
DeleteI cleaned up the fridge since looking at this photo but it's still a bit hillbilly because I have no room and need to put stuff on top of the fridge.
Oh man, you have to let me know what Irma does. Surrounded by fires and worrying about a hurricane on the opposite of the country, hope you're finding a way to relax.
I used your reply as the theme for my current post ;>)..... I don't think we deserve the "I survived Irma" TShirt since we watched from all the way across the country, but we felt like we were living it. Our cottage is still standing!
DeleteIt could have been a lot worse. Maybe "I Survived Irma From blank miles North But Still."
DeleteHe is like "Don't touch my Cocoa Puffs." I would be like that too. I love that cereal. My parents didn't use to buy it because it wasn't healthy.
ReplyDeleteDexter says, Cocoa Puffs are 9g of Sugar, 120 Calories compared to a "healthy" cereal like Raisin Bran which has 19g of Sugar, 190 Calories. Cheerios, Corn Flakes, Special K, Instant Oatmeal, Granola, are crammed with sugar so let's hear it for Cocoa Puffs. That cat knows his stuff.
Deletecats do the cutest things. He looks like he is guarding the refrigerator!
ReplyDeleteSometimes he acts like the dogs in that respect, warning me when there's a weird noise in the hallway or something out of the ordinary in the parking lot. However he also looks up at the loft for no good reason, scaring the living daylights out of me.
DeleteFun photo!
ReplyDeleteAt least one of us was having fun, Elizabeth.
DeleteWhen we had a cat, our cat loved to sit on top of the fridge too!
ReplyDeleteMy childhood friend's cat did as well and he'd wait for certain people and pounce. Another crazy ginger.
DeleteYou fridge looks purrfectly normal to me!
ReplyDeleteDexter won't climb anywhere without the promise of snacks when he get there.
Deletewhat a handsome cat! I hope we don't find our cat on top of the fridge, we keep one of our hamsters up there!!
ReplyDeleteOhh hahaha, well not for long if it gets up there.
DeleteHey, thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteHey, Dexter made me.
DeleteI think he has the best spot to be near the food😹Pawkisses for a delicious day😘❤😻
ReplyDeleteHe'd be lounging with the chicken and yogurt if that were the case, Little B &G.
DeleteDexter is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteAnd a ginger demon.
Deletelol! He looks relaxed! He knows what's important! Thanks for linking up today and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHe's relaxed all right!
DeleteHi Jeanna, I have a feeling no one told Dexter he's not supposed to be up there... Looking at your photo I think our fridge is hillbilly too!
ReplyDeletexx
Ha, I cleaned it up after I saw this photo, Debbie. He knows darn well he's not supposed to go up there and does it when he feels like being naughty.
DeleteHaha! He seems quite comfy up there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with #MMBC. Hope to see you Monday :)
He's in the middle of a time out right now so I'm guessing he'll head back up there to show me a thing or two.
