They got over a foot of snow in Door County on Tuesday although their welcome page says Sail Into Springtime.
Good thing they drink a lot up north. I think this weather calls for a drinking game played with Leinie's and 70s style shooters, every time the weatherman says, "blustery," "unseasonably cold" or "abnormal," drink.
I'm watching local news as I type and the other newscasters are telling the weatherman, "That's okay, Gary, it's not your fault."
It Snowed (all Gary's fault) |
We're having a big storm here this weekend. Rain, cold, more rain and it's cold.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
Rain and cold, lovely combination, lol. Try to make the best of it anyway.
DeleteNope, not Gary's fault unless he is a groundhog!
ReplyDeleteHe's a weatherman, Brian and I heard a different weatherman on this station apologizing for the cold and wind today. Maybe they have some powers we don't know about?
DeleteI bet you'd prefer he were a groundhog, wouldn't you boy.
Grey but great
ReplyDeleteQuite grey before the white came, Jim.
DeleteSo very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt was nice and misty out which makes for a good black and white pic, Fi.
Deletewow! it's still snowing up there!
ReplyDeleteBlech, I looked at the temp in the car on the way home tonight and it said, "32˚." C'mon.
DeleteBeautiful capture.
ReplyDeleteI'm embarrassed to say the battery on my good camera was dead and I didn't have another one so this is with my little tough pns.
DeleteNice dreamy, atmospheric shot! B&W is perfect for such images .. good choice.
ReplyDeleteIt was that kind of pre snowfall day out and I wanted to capture the mood and mist, am actually a little surprised I did, Stanley.
DeleteMagnifique
ReplyDeleteMerci mon ami.
DeleteBeautiful scene! What happened to spring?
ReplyDeleteConsidering I'm sitting here on April 7 freezing my culo off I'd have to ask the same thing. Supposed to snow or sleet or slush out tonight. Blech. But it might help me get my taxes done.
DeleteI might almost feel guilty about today's beautiful blue skies here, but it is very very cold and now the clouds are moving in.
ReplyDeleteYour photo, however, is exquisite.

Yes, feel guilty, then send them my way. It was 32˚ last I looked and I would take the warm rain any day.
DeleteWe finally have a glimmer of spring here this weekend
ReplyDeleteMollyx
We had glimmers of spring last winter but so far it's more like December or February.
DeleteLovely, moody image. I do hope spring shows up for you all soon!!
ReplyDeleteI'd take a measly ten degrees warmer, Betty.
DeleteLovely! Mystical!
ReplyDeleteHi praise from the Black and White queen.
DeleteI'm feeling cold just looking at that photo #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteMe too, I actually feel a breeze coming from somewhere and my feet are cold even though I'm wearing socks.
DeleteHi Jeanna, may as well have some fun when the weather is bad and a game like that will help you forget the weather woes and warm you up at the asme time. Bet your Mum would be a hoot after a game like that, I know my Mum would be.
ReplyDeletexx
I think a game like that will help you forget just about everything, Debbie. I have no doubt your mum would and I'd love to meet her. My mother, not so much. She was never much of a drinker and I can't remember her taking more than a sip or two of my dad's beer. If you knew my mother calling her "a hoot" would in itself be funny.
DeleteThat is a brilliant landscape shot. Works superbly in black and white. You can keep the cold weather 'though. #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteThanks, John, it was practically a drive-by taken with my pocket camera. I thought it would be warmer by now but I'm freezing just a tad as I type this.
DeleteI love the moody gritty feel to this photo.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
Thanks, Darren, it was a moody gritty day.
DeleteBeautiful photo - sorry more horrible cold crossed the country this weekend. I think everyone is ready for spring now.
ReplyDeleteThey keep making promises but here I am five days later with cold feet and a runny nose.
DeleteA beautiful moody looking grey. Come on spring though, we are behind too
ReplyDeleteI think something about this weather is producing giant rabbits in Cornwall, Fiona.
DeleteWe are having a not very pleasant spring down here. Cold, windy, rainy, overcast dreary. I'd rather be out riding my bike.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think it would be a different story down south, jeez. At least no tornados knock on flying wood. Nice off brand GoPro vid, Yogi.
DeleteI was waiting for the blustery winds and the oh so heavy rain that the weather guys forecasted on Friday. Ha! It rained but nothing to be scared about unless you were driving alongside people who don't know how to drive in rain. I'm glad it rained for us.
ReplyDeleteI guess people don't know how to drive in the rain, either. Let's face it, people are crappy drivers no matter the weather, Susie. I'm glad the winds remain unblustered your way, I'm sitting here avoiding my taxes shivering under a throw trying to get the cat to sit on my feet to keep them warm.
DeletePoor Gary, I fear you're drinking game wouldn't end well, here's to some proper spring weather soon #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteConsidering how I've lost all ability to hold my liquor I quite agree, CR. I think Gary will redeem himself tomorrow, fingers crossed.
