From Blankets To Tank Tops
My mother was wearing long sleeves, winter pants and at least one jacket under the car blanket yesterday. I had the windows open a crack and was warm in a t-shirt and denim capris. A tricky time of year, late March, I mean April. If it snowed tomorrow I wouldn't be surprised but today it was 80.

Big Rope Little Dog
It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...

I thought when Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone in the first quarter of that Viking game in mid-October it was some kind of karmic paymen...

This is hard for me to write not only because I'm broken up about Dexter's owner taking him back soon, but because being a dog perso...
A beautiful capture with tiny humans in the frame for reference.
ReplyDeleteYes (giving you a cyber Elaine Benes shove), they are tiny humans and the female human looks as if she's posed like a miniature.
DeleteMother Nature is on the teeter-totter. You're in the 80s and I feel like we're seeing winter for the first time. :-)
ReplyDeleteNo way, you live in Cali, don't you?
Deletehere in France it's the same. Last week it was hot, I went to the sea and I bathed. Yesterday it was cold like November with rain. but some leaders say there's no climate problem. Anyway your picture is very beautiful and no doubt that the walk should be pleasant. Devil was sleeping :-)
ReplyDeleteI always think of France as having perfect weather but I think most of Europe has dealt and is dealing with some pretty weird weather this year. Oh yeah a pack of lying idiots, I mean how can anyone deny climate change, doesn't it make you want to scream?
DeleteThank you, K, I used to be quite a walker but I'm afraid now I'm closer to needing one.
Ha, I think that Devil is sleeping for now, but he does rear his head and do evil there from time to time.
It's gonna be 80ish today but the nights are still a wee bit cold here!
ReplyDeleteOh geez Bri, it's been 80ish for two days now and I'm already sick of the warm weather.
DeleteThis week was cold for me and it rained a lot, but starting with today is better weather expected!
ReplyDeleteBe careful not to catch a cold!
I suppose all those tulips need rain, Ella and they do okay in the cooler climate don't they? We must have traded weather cuz I'm here after 8 pm still feeling sticky and icky. Too late, I've had something for a few months (Dexter's grandma passed on her germs to me.) but my Dr. gave me meds today.
DeleteWhat did you get from Dexter's grandma?
DeleteSorry, my english is not always perfect !
Whaaaat, your English is fantastic, girlfriend. Notice I'm not speaking Dutch and even my Spanish is frightening. Dexter's "grandma" had the flu and this awful cough and when I brought her root beer popsicles I think she gave me the flu and this never ending cough. That was at about two months ago.
DeleteWe've been cold here. Way too cold. I'm ready for some warm.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
Crazy, it's so darn out of nowhere hot here. In my undies on the couch at 8:30 pm about to fetch a popsicle but refusing to turn on the AC until we have a spring dagnabit.
DeleteHi Jeanna, it gets like that here too, although minus the snow. I'd be like you Mother, under a blanket and wrapped up for winter... You can't be to careful.
ReplyDeletexx
Ha, I used to keep the blanket in the car for the dogs, but now she gets the honors. I've been pretty warm every since this day so I guess we don't really get a spring.
DeleteThat sounds like Colorado weather (where our youngest son and DIL live) .... their weather is downright schitzophrenic ... they carry all kinds of coats and blankets in their car at all times for the layered look.
ReplyDeleteI think of CO as snow for an hour then melting away in the sun. It's so dry out there I couldn't deal with it unless I lived on a spring or river. Ha, I bet they do cuz they have those mountains as well. Sounds like the trunk of my car.
