Big Rope Little Dog
It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...

I thought when Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone in the first quarter of that Viking game in mid-October it was some kind of karmic paymen...

This is hard for me to write not only because I'm broken up about Dexter's owner taking him back soon, but because being a dog perso...
I've never quite understood the gas station memorabilia thing. I see it all the time on American TV shows. Perhaps our Australian service stations weren't as interesting as yours! #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteAs someone who's currently tearing apart their apartment and getting rid of boxes and boxes of stuff I can't see collecting anything, unless it's money. What American TV shows are you watching?
DeleteThat's just gas station memorabilia? Wow, someone sure likes their petrochemicals! That said, I can see why it's one of your favourite stops. #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, there's more to it but I liked this shot. There's even a stop light in the mix.
DeleteA classic looking garage. Love all the different signs.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday and thank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
I think the crown jewels are the classic pumps, Darren.
DeleteI love this! It's super quirky, I love quirky stuff :)
ReplyDeleteI do as well and this little display has been around as long as I can remember.
DeleteGreat shot!
ReplyDeleteI think it was one of my throwaway pocket camera shots, but I liked the colors.
DeleteThat looks pretty darn cool to us!
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys, I'm gonna stop by and see if you're up and running.
DeleteI Think it all looks fabulous, and somehow familiar even if I'm not in your country, I guess from the films I've watched it's how I imagine your gas stations to look :)
ReplyDelete#mysundayphoto
They may have, about 70 years ago, lol. I think it looks fab too, but I've yet to get a decent photo of it.
DeleteI love this. What a slice of gas station history.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
It really is, Sandee.
DeleteWe have one like this near work and they even fill up for you. It’s so weird to see!
ReplyDeleteOh do they? I don't think I know of any place else that does that.
DeleteThe good old times ... :)
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite backgrounds in Back to the Future was the Texaco guy filling up the tank.
DeleteGas station memorabilia is so fascinating, we don't have much of it here in the UK. #MySundayPhoto.
ReplyDeleteI don't see much of it around here but it's just down the way from a popular spot and I'm not giving up on trying to get a good shot of it.
Delete#mysundayphoto My father would've loved this, he was a collector of memorabilia and i've kept a few metal signs after his death
ReplyDeleteI think my dad would have liked this too and I could have gotten him to pose in front of the gas tanks pretending to fill the tank, lol. That's a nice remembrance of your father.
