Surprise Sunset
I don't remember seeing any kind of sunlight last week so imagine my surprise when I looked up from my drink (Sprecher Cream Soda) and saw this.

Big Rope Little Dog
It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...

I thought when Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone in the first quarter of that Viking game in mid-October it was some kind of karmic paymen...

This is hard for me to write not only because I'm broken up about Dexter's owner taking him back soon, but because being a dog perso...
Beautiful. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a day even better than this sunset. ♥
Thanks, Sandee, I think if I get in a bit of late afternoon exercise I will and the same to you.
ReplyDeleteWOW! That sure is stunning!
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice touch for sure, Brian. Better than fireworks.
DeleteSpectacular sunset. I'm glad you looked up and found it!

Ha, I had to look over there at some point (to the left of the band).
DeleteWow - stunning shots!
ReplyDeleteRight back atcha, Fi.
DeleteWhat lovely captures so peaceful :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a sunsetsurprisetastic week :-)
Well it was anything but being at a fairly loud outdoor concert but the music, company and drink were good.
DeleteWow, gorgeous sunset. The colors are stunning. Enjoy your day and new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I never know how light or dark it will look from mobile device to laptop to desktop from person to person, but thought a sunset was fairly safe across platforms.
DeleteWell done Mother Nature.
ReplyDeleteMagic colours!! Fantastic sunset! ❤️
ReplyDeleteThanks Mamarazzi, that hammock is quite cool.
DeleteWow wow wow!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, girlfriend.
Deletewhat a lovely surprise!
ReplyDeleteAnd it had even stopped raining (until it started again).
DeleteWow! That's a gorgeous sunset!
ReplyDeleteIt was a pleasant gift from the gods, Mary.
DeleteStunning! The sun appeared just in time to give a last gasp of the day -- and an incredibly beautiful one! That kind of day happens here (in Oregon) more than once in a while ....(although I think your sunset is way more dramatic).... but where you wonder how there could be a sunset when there wasn't any sun.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice way of putting it, Sallie. I have a good sunset picture after climbing up some Oregon rock tucked away somewhere, it's tucked into some fog or mist or something. I get exhausted just looking at it.
DeleteBeautiful! Such lovely colours!

The picture took itself (which is a good thing considering my skills as of late), HMII.
DeleteBeautiful photos! Happy MM!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ninja.

ReplyDeleteIt's no XOXO training potty, but thanks, Karen.
DeleteAmazing!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, it was a nice send off.
DeleteWhat a stunning sunset, I love to see such colours in the sky.

Cheers, Anne, I was afraid it had gotten too dark, but broke down and put it on full auto and voila.
DeleteThanks for the share. I guess you looked up just at the right time to take a beautiful photo. A great sunset like that is so relaxing. The colors are just perfect. Have a great Wordless Wednesday.

I guess I did, good thing I was facing the right direction. Thank you, have a cool weekend.
DeleteBeautiful and ominous at the same time!
ReplyDeleteI think it was tell us to enjoy it because we were going to get more crazy rain and the kind of heat that makes Satan weep.
DeleteBeautiful colours!
ReplyDeleteNot too bad for Verona, WI, LM.
DeleteOne thing I like about having a cell phone in my pocket is to be able to capture great shots like these. In the "old days" I never had a camera when I needed it most. - Margy
ReplyDeleteThat's why I have a pocket camera but it's really no substitute for the real thing, Margy.
DeleteWow, that is quite a sky you found!
ReplyDeleteLook and you shall receive, Yogi (:
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great to be in the right place at the right time without having arranged it all. A gift from the sky to you, I'd say.

Yes it is and that's about the only way I seem to get a decent photo lately. Ha, yes sky, keep all your humidity but ta for the sunset.
DeleteJaw-dropping!!!!
ReplyDeleteHigh praise indeed.
Deletestunning photo #keepingitreal
ReplyDeleteA present from nature making up for all the rain.
DeleteOhhhhhhhhhh :)
ReplyDeleteThat's what we said.
DeleteHi Jeanna, now that is one firey looking sky. Quite beautiful... Not sure about the sound of the drink though. Anything called a sprecher cannot be edible!
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up with #keepingitreal
xx
Ha, I remember laughing when I first read this sooo very long ago. As you can tell I'm a bit in the weeds these days. Sprecher makes one helluva soda and although it's been quite awhile I remember their beer being worthy of hiding at the bottom of a ice bucket.
