What Do You Think Of All This Rain, Little Guy?
The clouds hung around today but it finally stopped raining unless you count some sprinkles on the way home from an evening with my cousins and The Jimmys.
Holding out for sprinkles
Coincidentally, sprinkles are also called, "Jimmies."
Hi Jeanna, that little face just about sums up how a lot of the tourists have been looking this past week. Oh, my, the weather has been odd and we still have three days of dodgy weather forecast next week. If only rain drops were sugar sprinkles!
If they were we'd all be diabetics by now and besides, June is Dairy Month not rain until the roads collapse month. I can't believe it's still raining over there, how bizarre, they're going to have to change all those Come To Sunny Greece posters if it doesn't let up soon, you're full into tourist season aren't you. Yeah that's one of my littlest cousins, he started dancing and drumming to music not too long after this photo.
Maybe not all of us. I imagine there would be some who were just too slow to get any sprinkles... It sounds like odd weather all round. Even now as I'm sat here the sky is dark and I can hear thunder rumbling somewhere, but apart from the odd cloudburst we aren't getting too much rain. The weather this month has definately been odd. We are going into high season now, July and August are really crazy months with Italians and Greeks holidaying here on top of the package holiday lot... I'm glad to read your little cousin chirped up, it would be a shame to think this expression was in for the day! #mysundayphoto
Isn't it weird to hear thunder in the distance yet it never rains? I experienced that in Colorado. Ha, nope, he wasn't committed to that expression as adorable as it was.
It actually feels like a summer night right now. Half an hour to midnight and still hot. Love it, I do. Since we don't get them much in the summer, I wouldn't mind a few sprinkles.
I do love a summer night that's not crazy humid and listening to all the critters is kind of soothing. Except for what I'm convinced is a cougar (the wild animal) (the four legged wild animal) rowling in the bushes. Now I want sprinkles but the kind you put on your ice cream.
I'm glad you guys have a boat to beat the heat on the water, Sandee. Yeah, the trick is to drop everything and get out at all costs when there's a nice day cuz I'm not going to be stuck in the sweltering heat if I can help it.
Haha!! What a cutie!!! I'd hold out for chocolate sprinkles!!! Nicely captured! Thank you so much for your lovely compliment about my work on The World in Black and White...
I love rain.Rain is the best gifts for any one. When I am little then I very enjoy the rain. When the rain is coming then I run to outside. and play football and swimming. Really all the day was great. I miss all the day.
It's a great excuse to run out and play or to stay in and get stuff done. I like the morning clouds because they let me sleep longer but too much damage cause by too much rain this season.
Please don't link your blog in the comments or it will be deleted. Your comment, not your blog, but wouldn't that be unsettling? Blog Hop Links are in the sidebar.

ReplyDeleteHe was laughing moments later, Klara!
DeleteWe're having a heatwave. You're either in because of the rain or a heatwave. We just can't win it seems.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥

ReplyDeleteThanks, such a sweet little punim.
DeleteAww! What a cutie! I feel the same when it rains.
ReplyDeleteIt hadn't stopped raining for so long but I think it was just too much noise and excitement that took a little adjusting to and then all was well.
DeleteSomebody doesn't look happy! What a great photo :)
ReplyDeleteHe cheered up considerably, Nikki-ann but I'm glad I got this photo before he did (:
