I'll Take The Lemonade

If it's 90˚ and it feels like 94˚ why not just say the temperature is too hot if you're Irish and Norwegian˚?

    1. I was too exhausted just thinking about the heat and didn't like any of my new photos so tossed this one up there. I'll have to be content with fresh lemon and ice water today but that lemonade sure looks good.

  2. No, I am only Dutch but here were last week 104˚ ... I thought I was on fire!
Nothing helps ... only the cooling pool ...

  3. Wow Jeanna, that is certainly national news - a shooting and stampede at the fireworks?? Hope no one got seriously hurt! Hope the shooting was just out of too much excitement or alcohol, instead to kill? Am looking at your can and it says "hard cider"...never seen that first word - does it mean lemon is included, or? Am sure this is the most eye-popping news at All Seasons this week! Enjoy a calmer week, haha:)

    1. J. the funny thing is we were just talking about all the reasons we wouldn't go to the fireworks display, basically because of traffic, parking and the crowd and the next thing you know I hear about it on national news. No one was killed but a police officer fell off a second floor in the stampede and someone was shot. They used to have this thing very close to my place and I'm so glad they no longer do.
My cousin was drinking the hard cider but I was all about the lemonade. These days though it's freshly squeezed lemon in ice water or sparkling water with lots of lemons and ice.
Hard drinks mean it contains alcohol which I don't care much about.

  6. Looks like you've found a delicious way to beat the heat. I live in the Pacific Northwest U.S. where many people don't have air conditioned homes. We finally broke down and had A/C installed this year. It's sure nice, especially for sleeping.

  8. We missed the heat wave in Europe, thank goodness, and now that we’re home, thevPacific Northwest seems to be the only area of this country escaping the heat. So far at least. We don’t have A/C here, so I hope we don’t get extreme temps.
