I've been spending some quality time with Oliver, aka Little Rat my cousins' Teddy Bear dog. He sure is a hit with old folks and people in memory care.
|
Oliver perched on his special spot while we watched an old movie |
|
He knows there's a bounty of crumbs between the cushions |
|
My sister, not much of an animal lover, has a new admirer |
|
The Godmother, who is in memory care, remembers this little guy every time |
|
Little Rat was fascinated by a game of pass the big ball |
|
Oliver's mom would kill me if she saw this photo. Don't tell her |
Oliver is such a sweetie with a very important job!
ReplyDeleteIf you love cod, you and the gang (especially Simon) would love my place on any given Friday.
DeleteOlivers fur looks so soft and silky...it makes me want to pet him.
ReplyDeleteYou're right there, Rosie, it's very soft and silky. Except for the silky part, Oliver and I have pretty similar hair. People generally do want to pet the little rat boy, lol.
DeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteHe is at that, although I'm steering him more toward lab behavior.
DeleteAww! What a nice post Oliver is such a nice fella he seems very happy and enjoying the attention heheh!
ReplyDeleteHave a wooftastic week :-)
He does but I notice is less patient with the whole petting thing than he used to be. Although the getting him to be more like a lab thing is coming along nicely. We were at Devil's Lake and he went in the lake on Sunday. Today, however, the ground is covered in snow.
DeleteHello, Oliver is a sweetie, cute pup! Enjoy your day, wishing you a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteAw, what a cutie pie. They are such good therapy for everyone. So cute.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
Yeah, they really are. Gotta watch those ladies in memory care though cuz they keep saying, "This is the last time I'll hug and kiss him." It's actually kind of sweet.
DeleteVisiting pets are so important for people in care. - Margy
ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous - and I bet he brightens everyone's day...
ReplyDeleteYour secret is safe with me! Glad you get such joy from him!
ReplyDeleteOliver does look like a Teddy Bear! Glad to see that he brings joy to residents in Memory care
ReplyDeleteHe is just so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see you at 'My Corner of the World' this week!
