Say Cheese! Parade Photos Taken From Inside The Car

I'm not sure if I'll be riding or walking in the parade this year, but riding makes it a lot easier to take photos as well as being a lot easier on my feet.

The cousin who's been organizing the Dempsey Clan's participation in the St. Paddy's Day Parade is now afraid of the Coronavirus in such a large crowd.

She points out that Grandpa Dempsey died from catching the Spanish Flu after going downtown to celebrate the end of WWI .

It's time to wash your hands for 20 seconds then use your homemade hand sanitizer if you could find a 91 percent or greater rubbing alcohol and Say Cheese!

  1. Oh fun celebrating. That wonderful red hair! I’m surprised Your team didn’t beat our Ducks because I don’t think we have a holy order of green and yellow in Oregon. ))

    1. LOL, Sallie, you won't let me forget it and I don't blame you. One point, wasn't it, seems so long ag0—what a heartbreaker. I think we need someone in red or green to bless the even this year.

  3. You'd have a wonderful view of the parade goers from the car! My husband's grandfather also passed away from the Spanish flu, but in Italy. Praying for a cure or vaccine!

  7. Wow. That's an interesting story about your grandfather. She's probably right too. The countries that are managing it are the ones that all closed schools and canceled gatherings, including postponing religious festivals...(We've not cancelled anything either, and it's just about to blow up here...)

  12. Love your pics from the crowds - do you know you are good at this?? Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think this virus has as much of an impact as they make it out to be? We will see ...but your captures are outta this world! Have a great week! Still hope to see you back at All Seasons this week ... maybe with this crowd? - :):)
