"Hey, Johnny, what are you rebelling against?" |
I tried to get people on Facebook to answer with the famous quote below.
I failed. But a friend did use an Oingo Boingo reference which is another kind of cool.
Whether you're only a lad or a wild one, why not roll up and SAY CHEESE!

Very cool, Sandee, how did you do that?
DeleteCopied it from someone else. I'm not that talented.
DeleteThanks for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥
Ha, I remember making some fun patterns in typing class back in the Dark Ages.
DeleteThe surfer dude looks confused!
ReplyDeleteHa, young rebel, no cause.
DeleteThanks for hosting. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for dropping by, Linda. I hope your good weather continues throughout the week in Squirrel Ridge (squirrels, eek).
DeleteHi Jeanna! You did a fantastic capture! You didn't just show the boy's movement but also the fierce expression on his face! Love it! Have a great new week my friend! Hugs from the Philippines!
ReplyDeleteThank you, SQ, I was using my Pandemic Camera, lol. It's lighter and older and doesn't take great photos, but has a telephoto lens I leave on. Hugs back to you, Stevenson. The expression is most of what I try to capture.
DeleteI love the 'tude too! Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteIt rained and snowed then rained some more, but I'm loving that kind of weather more and more. It sounds like you had a nice run/hike.
DeleteHe's wishing he'd had some shades to cut the glare. . .Happy week!
ReplyDeleteMaybe his future's so bright he ought to wear shades, Cathy.
DeleteThe photo made me smile heheh! CHEEEEESE 🧀
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed Mother's Day :-)
Have a safetastic week 😷😷😷
Wish I'd gotten a clearer shot, ah well, another expense or another year. I did not enjoy it in the least, but the weather was fun (snow, rain, snain, sleet and more snow then it rained for a change).
DeleteMoving while taking pictures can be tricky. - Margy
ReplyDeleteIt sure can, especially when you have vertigo, I have wiped out big time after a day of snapping photos.
DeleteGreat capture. I love the 'tude, too.
ReplyDeleteLove the cool capture, Jeanna!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday!
Very cool. Just rollin' by! haha That's a definite... GOTCHA! Thanks for sharin'! Have a great day! Stay healthy. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteHe was rollin' and leapin' and flying through the town square like a champ. The same to you and your grandsons, Dolly.
DeleteGreat spot ... Yeah, he’s definitely got attitude ,., did he see you take the photo? I once had a man yell in my face and tell not to take his picture. Funny thing is, I wasn’t even trying to ... was it my fault he was standing behind the market stall produce I was trying to shoot? Anyway, if I could get the kind of street photos you do, I’d take more of them even if I did get yelled at!
ReplyDeleteOh for sure I get yelled at, chased out of a store once, almost always some dirty and threatening looks, but that's all part of it. I even got "told off" by what I'm guessing was a pre-law student for taking photos of ice cream she and her friends were eating at a social media event. We had a "discussion" about how she was in a public pplace at an event that encouraged photos. She was showing off to her friends (who looked embarrassed). I try to balance the best shot with being discreet with asking permission which of course may ruin the spontaneity.
DeleteOh yeah, he saw me take the photo, lol, hence the 'tude.
DeleteYou definitely have a talent for street photography, and catching unusual images! Like the first and the last one. Poor kid, with open mouth - he probably didn't expect to be called out about his skateboarding! Maybe he thought, I better get home, the streets are not safe today!
ReplyDeleteThank you, J. He was doing some cool tricks, but I wasn't quick enough to catch them. I thought I had gotten him jumping and flying through the air, but those shots didn't turn out. I saw another young man on a skateboard and one on a scooter, all three were about the same age. I wish I was coordinated like that.
DeleteGreat capture, Jeanna! Love that 'tude! It's the age, you see. (I have a teen at home, so...)
ReplyDeleteHappy #ww, Jeanna. Stay safe and have a great week.:)
That's one helluva candid capture? Did he see you get that one, Jeanna?
ReplyDeleteHave a great week ahead.
I'm pretty sure he did, Natasha.
DeleteDid you know that The Wild One was based on a real event that happened in our town of Hollister? When the stars align the city holds a biker rally on the 4th of July weekend to commemorate the event. Vrrooomm, vrrrom. The bar that a biker drove through is still around.
ReplyDeleteI did not know that, how very, very cool. Have you ever gone, is it rowdy, is there a plaque on the bar or something?
