Sometimes It Is Black & White

One of these rallies is happening in California right now. They treated it like a big party here in Wisconsin last week. They clustered and bragged about shaking hands like Boris Johnson. Don't they watch the news? There were guns and kids and dogs and Trump gear and lots of posturing and alt right money.

There were very few voices of reason.

She's covering her ears because the honking was deafening and relentless
There was lots of honking.

Thinks she's tailgating and hopes they light up the grill real soon

They want you to honk for them as if they're heroes, they aren't.

    1. It shows no sign of stopping, Brian, and they're trying to sue our governor for extending the safer at home order even though he's relaxed restrictions.

  2. Who needs that much weaponry to walk down the street. That should be their first concern that something's not right.

    1. No one, does, Lydia. No one needs that much weaponry for any reason except to show the world what a warped sh*thead you are. I think the police were trying not to escalate all the crazies, after all, they'd love that.

  5. Oh I feel so sorry for that poor girl :( Jeanna, I still vividly remember your last post and how striking those photos were! Giving it this black and white feel gives is a more haunting feel to it, very powerful!

    1. Thanks, SQ, I felt sorry for all the kids up there, who knows what they picked up being so close to all the anti mask nuts.

    2. Oh and Jeanna, I would just like to thank you for your awesome words on my blog, specifically your comment on my garden and anxiety post. Words from my blogging friends really help me so much and keep me calmer and more at peace. Thank you so much and I am very grateful I found your blog lately and will surely frequent your space! I don't wanna miss your posts so I bookied your url on my Cavite Daily Photo blog :)

Again thank you very much Jeanna, please have an awesome weekend!

    3. Your garden is wonderful, I almost got a plot this year with other gardeners, but between bad knees and social distancing, I didn't see it working out. I got three pansies for my birthday and I predict their demise by Tuesday.
Talking to fellow bloggers is helping me as well, I didn't expect to connect with anyone the way I did through an old blog, but I still have a good friend I made there and am surprised and delighted by people I keep meeting through this one.
It's hard to stay calm and getting your hands into soil or getting outside can make all the difference, SQ.
Tomorrow is my birthday and I make it a point to go somewhere outside no matter the weather and it looks like a beautiful day tomorrow so I plan on having an awesome Sunday for sure.
Take care and find joy, my friend.

    4. Oh Jeanna! Why did I read this so late, I would have greeted you a Happy Birthday when it was still on the correct day, but still, I would like to wish you a happy Birthday and may your new year be filled with so much blessings and joy and love and despite this current situation, in meaning and in peace - may this new year for you be the best yet out of all those years that have passed. God bless you and thank you for being a new friend that I will cherish and will look forward to more reading and comments to share :)

Take care and enjoy this new week Jeanna!

  9. “They are not heros” might be the understatement of the century... fools, idiots, spawn of Satan, horrible horrible people. But we even had people in Oregon demonstrating in Salem yesterday. Disgusting. ... you however did some excellent photojournalism there.

  10. An kind of amused and don't agree with some of the comments you received. The hardest is to explain to my European friends that you can be in the midst of this without the fear of a gun going off (there maybe only one in the crowd who will actually shoot)). Maybe it's my last five years living in between vets, knowing everyone has at least a few guns, except for us, and knowing they still talk as if they're still on the past battlefield. Thanks for sharing this with All Seasons though - this is part of the reality right now that the fake media likes to ignore. I do agree kids should not be here.
