I got this little lambswool mouse from a hardware store and it's the Rat Boys' oldest and most special toy. Who knows how many times this raggy ol' thing has been washed and sewn back together (the plush toy not the posh dog).
Rage on, Blue Pepino, rage on.
It's your move, mouse |
There's nothing quite like a favourite old toy.
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't know how this thing still exists, Fiona.
DeleteThat is a very special pal, must be some smurf in its family!
ReplyDeleteYes, the blueness lives on too, Bri, lol.
DeleteWhich ones the toy? (just kidding, laughing)
ReplyDeleteI know it's hard to tell, Mary, but Mr. French there is the one with the bad attitude. (Mr. French aka Bobby Boy aka Bob Barker aka Roberto Clementi.) His brother Oliver, aka Little Rat is the one that look just like a stuffed toy.
DeleteI wonder which is the toy ... Bob or Blue Pepino?
ReplyDeleteYou can keep it the Blue Pepino I take Bob! Ok? LOL
You'd really be in a quandary if I threw Oliver in the mix, Ella (;
DeleteOur precious Little Bit had a favorite toy and it's right there with her ashes. This post brought back that memory. It's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
That's a very sweet idea, Sandee. I'm glad it's not too sad of a memory for you. Hope you had a great weekend and a sunny Sunday.
DeleteSo sweet....my Dakota can't hold onto toys for longer than a couple of house. He loves to chew them up better than playing with them. THanks for stopping by the blog.
ReplyDeleteI hear you, Pam, Farty the Boston is like that and we have to hide all the "good" toys when she comes to visit. But I think all five of the dog cousins have played with Blue Pepino and yet he lives on. Red Pepino was not so lucky. Blue Pepino is really Oliver's baby and since he's so adorable his favorite toy keeps getting resuscitated.
DeleteLove the colouring on this. An old favourite toy
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
Funny enough, that color is pretty close.
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute that he has his favourite toy. Love the colour effect!
ReplyDeleteThis thing has nine lives, TT.
DeleteHa ha -- that mouse has superpowers to withstand the attacks for all those years. (I'm guessing not only superpowers, but a friend who is a good seamstress.)
ReplyDeleteVery perceptive, Sallie, my cousin Jackie is a good seamstress with a sewing machine.
DeleteLove the pop of blue in among the monochrome #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteI sometimes think that mouse is all that Little Rat sees around him, Helena.
DeleteHi Jeanna, I do hope that Red Pepino doesn't manage to dig itself out of it's shallow grave, it could get nasty!

Ha ha, I don't know what happened to him, exactly, but nobody's talking.
