The Little Things

Ever finicky about his toys, this replacement scratcher was more of a hit than a new clubhouse, scratching post, myriad of mice, balls, feathers, peek and play box, tunnel and nip toys, but then again so were the boxes they came in.

Can a turbo ball scratcher and ginger kitty find love in this crazy ol' world?

    1. Hahaha, yes it is, Ella. Although I did just see winter storm warnings crawl across the TV screen!

  2. You love what you love, Dexter and you don't what you don't. It's all good.

    1. Right now I think he's in "love" with some birds teasing him from the front yard (;

    2. I'll pass that on to her Sandee, she'll be delighted. And Ella has given me the idea of tracking down one of my favorite candy stores for Easter so I think more pics of her are forthcoming.

    1. He's a spoiled fur baby who gets more things from Amazon than I do, Michelle.

    1. Hi Brian, I took over the keyboard while the food source is downstairs checking for Amazon packages, boy is she in for a surprise. I am pretty happy, but don't tell anyone because I've been milking this poor orphan kitty thing for a year now...mmm, milk.

  6. Love it is! Just like a one-year-old child at Christmas .. the boxes are more fun than the gift.

  7. Sweet. I wonder if our Molly would prefer a round scratcher to a rectangle one. Be fun to find out, at least once.

    1. This is the replacement for his turbo ball toy and when I found out the old one was still good on one side I put that out too. He loves it because he knows it goes in his toy I think (ha, he's looking at me now because he wants cake and ice cream).

  8. Hi Jeanna, it looks like Ginger Kitty is exhausted with all the fun. It sounds like cats and chiclren are very similar with their love of boxes!

    1. He tired himself out and slept in today while I went to the pool. Gave me a look like, "You just go ahead and I'll be here in this exact same spot when you get back." Which he was. He has a remote control mouse on the way so I can't wait to see what happens with that. Right now he's planted himself between me and a plate of cake and melted icecream.
