Big Rope Little Dog
It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...
-
I thought when Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone in the first quarter of that Viking game in mid-October it was some kind of karmic paymen...

This is hard for me to write not only because I'm broken up about Dexter's owner taking him back soon, but because being a dog perso...
Today the sun is shining and it's sort of warm. Tomorrow the rain begins again and will last all week. Spring is coming.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
Yikes, more rain, blech. I haven't even checked and have been holed up with this ungodly cough...looks like 37 and partly cloudy tmw and things looking UP from Wednesday through the rest of the week. Hip hip and all.
DeleteThat would not be a good place to be stuck in!
ReplyDeleteAt least it's not a porta potty (I don't think).
DeleteFor you, I hope spring will come soon, because in the scene you're showing it looks like deep in winter! Also thanks for your comment last week about skating - same here. After my mid twenties I have not done it, so I would also be black and blue trying it now - but it's still fun to watch though:) Thank you a million for linking up with All Seasons and hope you have a warming-up week!
ReplyDeleteThat was a few days ago and around here it could be in the 70s already. Today, Tuesday, just a few stubborn piles of snow left and promises of a great, warm day tomorrow, J.
DeleteA shack for ice or to sit and fish? It looks like we might actually get continuous rain over the next two weeks. Yay! The mountains on our eastern side have yet to get green. Maybe for Spring.
ReplyDeleteThat's right, fishing in luxury. We could get rain, snow, sleet, sunshine, really who knows. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice, though.
DeleteOh, you mean to store ice, lol. On the ice to sit in out of the cold and fish through a hole in the ice, I never did anything so fancy.
DeleteToo cold for me! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt was well on the way to the present thaw in this photo even though it's a little hard to tell. I'm just hoping the temps keep rising until it sticks at 70 for ever.
DeleteWell I am hoping for at least one more good snow before Spring officially arrives. And I think the gang is too!
ReplyDeleteI could do without it, especially since I never did find a good pair of winter boots this year.
DeleteAnd all that's left is the smallest room in the house...MOL :D Sping is just around the corner ;) Pawkisses for a Happy Day :) <3
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I couldn't afford the rent since it's (or was) on the water.
DeleteThat look so cold, but so pretty xx
ReplyDeleteNot as cold as you'd think, especially if you're trapped inside.
DeleteThat ice shack looks claustrophobic to me -- and cold too. We've only ever seen them once and it was Fall so they were just stacked up waiting (we were visiting Bill's sister in Bemidji -- I am sure they use them well and often in their winters. Anyway, I hope you are right -- for your sake (and my SIL's) -- that Spring is not too far behind.
ReplyDeleteI've seen some pretty elaborate ones but if you've gone out shackless with a manual drill in sub zero temps it seem cozy.
DeleteWhat is that? Is that for fishing thru a hole in the ice?
ReplyDeleteYup, that's exactly what it is, Lydia.
DeleteSo that is what the shacks look like that you fish in? COOL....
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty typical, maybe a little fancy. I've seen some much larger ones and fishermen going old school out in the elements. I wouldn't turn down sitting in one if offered and it probably goes along with cans of beer and some hot stew.
DeleteLooks like it's time for the shack to return to its waiting place til the next winter. Love the shot!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I think it might snow or storm but I personally wouldn't step foot on the ice again until next year. I think the little shack is lucky to be off the ice and on its way home, Betty.
DeleteSnow today. 60s on Thursday. Weird weather!
ReplyDeleteWhat is UP with that, I mean it's kind of fun but doesn't it begin to get to you after awhile? Pretty sure it's global warming, but it also means things like a crazier amount of extra bugs and more possible flooding. I think tmw will be gorgeous though.
DeleteWe were excited for summer in this side of the world but rain came in for a visit :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure we'll be in a rainy season soon, Shiella.
DeleteA good sign of spring. We are forecast to have really cold temperatures this week!
ReplyDeleteBut I bet you'll make the most of it and come back with some fantastic photos, Fi.
DeleteVery creative photo it in its beautiful simplicity!
ReplyDeleteHappy Day to you,

Thanks, Carol, kisses and head scratches to Zoe.
