I stopped by the
Big Cat Rescue in Rock Springs last week and had a nice visit in the hot sun. I know this is stupid but they remind me so much of house cats and dumber yet I was talking to them as if they were. I got pretty much the same reaction as I do with house cats.

ReplyDeleteGreat, good for drawings!:)
ReplyDeleteI love big cats my favourite is the black jaguar, my husband always calls them black panthers, he always says that I am the one naming them incorrectly #twinklytuesday@_karendennis
ReplyDeleteThey do things in a very similar way don't they LOL @ talking to them aww!
ReplyDeleteHave a felinetastic week :-)
My mom talks to all animals like they are her pets. I think the animals appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous animals!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweeties, all of you!
ReplyDeleteNow those are some huge feline. Love that dog too.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, my friend. ♥
Such majestic animals! I'm glad there are rescue sanctuaries for them.
ReplyDeleteCats do sleep most of the time, including big cats. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great facility ... doing good work and definitely providing fine photo ops! Cool. Any time I’ve ever seen them, tigers remind me of house cats .... so much the same behavior and really even appearance. . Lions not so much maybe, except they do seem to like to sleep. Thanks for inviting me to the party!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see big cats, I marvel at how much their behavior reminds me of of the little house cats I’ve had. Wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteHow does a zoo no longer have room for an animal? That sounds weird. Beautiufl creatures! Glad they're safe
ReplyDeleteThe big cats are always some of my favorites to visit when we go to the zoo. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm going to confess...you would find me talking to them as if they were puddy tats too! great big cats but I really love your doggo....looks just like my Lila!
ReplyDeleteSo, you're saying that cats are cats, no matter their size!! Great images. I'm sure they have a good life.
ReplyDeleteYour post rocks at 'My Corner of the World' this week!
My Corner of the World
Lovely creatures.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the email auto fill, Deb.
DeleteI love looking at all cats, they are such amazing creatures.
ReplyDeleteYou might be surprised at how much the cats listen...I bet they listen to the people that take care of them...it is funny, Bubbie does not talk a lot through the day when I ask him things, but when I get up in the morn and he is glad to see me, he answers almost everything I say to him. Of course, I only guess at what he is saying....LOL
ReplyDeleteI had my cousin's cat for a long time and I recorded some of our conversations, lol. His name was Dexter and I trained him like a dog because I knew very little about cats so he learned to come, stay, sit, speak, stretch on command and half way roll over. We also did something I called the, "Spiderman Kiss" which I swear I saw a lion do at that place.
Delete"Bubbie" is a great name!
Oh, Big Cats! When you mentioned it on my post the other week, I thought house cats. Hahaha. Small cats, big cats, they all love the same kind of sweet talk. So I think. Very cool shots of the Big Guys. Purrrrrrrrrrrrr, says Missy Molly by Golly.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful animals and great shots of them. That dog's a beaut too #twinklytuesday
