Dogs And People

I love dogs and hate people. Well, not all dogs and not all people. But I love this dog and his human. Maybe you heard about the Taco Bell dog who was sent out for Cheetos in Mexico.

A guy quarantined in Mexico wanted a delicious, salty, orange snack and no, not Prince Harry or Justin Turner.
He sent his chihuahua out for Cheetos. And she brought them back.

"Hello Mr. Shopkeeper. Please sell my dog some Cheetos, the orange kind, not the red ones, they're too hot. She has $20 attached to her collar. WARNING: She will bite if not treated right. Your front neighbor."

Some questions:
1. Why is the Taco Bell Dog going out for Cheetos?
2. Wouldn't you be more impressed if a lab came back with anything more than an empty, chewed up bag?
3. Did she get change from the $20? (A lab would have spent the rest on pizza. A Boston would have spent the entire $20 on anything it could chew to pieces, which is everything.)

Has eaten entire pizzas that were cooling on the counter

Note: I forgot to add this picture when I posted earlier. I know some of you were wondering.

I read this on Storypick. The photos are credited to Antonio Muñoz, I couldn't pinpoint him on Twitter.

  1. I hadn't seen this do with the note. Cute! My dog would eat the cheetos and run off with the money :) Thanks for linking up and stay well.

    1. Haa, most dogs would, Michelle, even the little ones. About the money, I'm not so sure, but they're smarter than we think and probably up to no good, lol.

  2. That's one smart dog. The pup should have been given a good treat for all this great work.

    Have a fabulous day. ♥

  3. Didn't show how the Cheetos got home, in the dog's mouth or tied to the collar. It may have been set up but it's a nice diversion for life right now. - Margy

    1. Ah, I forgot to post that pic. I agree, it might have been staged, but a fun diversion it was.

    1. Ha, I think the sweet smell of Taco Bell would be too much for any dog, Brian. Hey, do you like fish tacos?

    1. Thank you for the wildlife shots, all the wildlife around here seem kind of freaked out to see so many people outside.

  8. Thanks for this giggle :-). We have a rescue greyhound and the first thing she did here in the house is finding the kitchen bin and eat daughter from another mother's old cheese sandwhich. That's how we learned that greyhounds can be used as chemical weapons: they do have a slight problem with bad wind. We nearly took her back ;-). Happy Friday despite everything!

    1. Haaa, of course she did. My cousin used to "booby trap" the kitchen trashcan because my pal Roscoe kept getting into it. Do they, I've only met a few and am always surprised to find out how big they are. I though Boston's were the worst for wind, lol. I'm glad and I'm sure she's glad that you kept her.
