Pancho & Lefty

This haunting classic by Townes Van Zandt inspired a Tex Mex place in a small town south of here. I hope to visit them when it's safe, whenever that may be.

Does anyone else feel as if they're wearing their skin like iron?

I understand the hearts which I'm guessing were added during the pandemic, but I have to ask, "Why the mermaid?"

  1. The name makes it sound like a fun place but yes, what is with that mermaid anyways!?!?

    1. It's one of my favorite songs, SQ, and was featured in an excellent series about Country Western music on the tele. You have such a lovely voice and made me cry when I read and watched your last post. I'm having a pretty good weekend, Stevenson, and hope you are too. I may see if the restaurant owners are on Facebook and ask them about the mermaid.

    2. Jeanna that is so nice of you. I love singing (well most Filipinos do I guess HAHA) and it makes me so happy to read your kind words. I just really felt like singing that time because I really miss my mom so much no matter how long it has been since she passed.

Oh that would be awesome hahaha maybe they have a story about the mermaid :) Have a great new week Jeanna :)

    3. I think most Italians and Irish do as well, Stevenson. I understand, I miss my dad a lot too. I asked on FB this morning, but no answer yet. I'll ask again if I go all the way there for curbside pick up which I'll probably do at some point.

  3. Ok guys, I asked the question on their FB page and looking at their food photos will have to swing back by and get a curbside pick up.

  6. ... wearing skin like iron ... right now I don't feel like that, but I might if I have to hold in my anger, when I know I'm just going to be angrier at their response, lol! Exactly, why the mermaid? But it's a cheerful addition! Before you know it, these months will be a crazy nightmare, that keeps repeating itself every night. One time time, though it will stop, and we will live in a new better normal. Many thanks for sharing the mermaid with All Seasons, and have a beautiful week, Jesh

  8. LOL, the mermaid is cute. The curbside pickup is great, we have used them here at our favorite restaurants. Take care, stay well! Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!

  9. We don't have mermaids to decorate our town, but after several years of renewed logger sports competitions, we have lots of chainsaw art scattered around. Some of the subjects are what you would expect, but some are more modern themes. - Margy
