Weather Report

Traffic is moving slowly, shall we say it's snow moving?
No, we shall not.
Snow more waiting, January is here.
Please make it stop.
And snow it goes, expect 5-7 inches.
Basta.
There's just snow visibility.
I hate you.

I took a detour from an Armageddon grocery store run when it started snowing

I met Becca and Kylie (hiding)

An accident on the way home. How do people forget to drive in snow every year?

  1. Love the lonely look of your first photo - and those dogs look a delight to meet!

    1. It wasn't as bad as they made out, Bri, but then again I waited until the next day to check it out.

    1. I took photos and went on a just in case grocery store run as it started to come down. Stayed in all day today. Everything looked plowed to me from the inside looking out and this can't really be considered a big storm, just the first time we've got some actual snow and cold temps this winter.

  5. It doesn't snow here and I'm happy about that. It gets cold, but only for a couple of months. I'm ready for some warmer weather.

    Have a fabulous weekend. ♥

    1. I'd be happy too, I'm surprised it gets cold though, but maybe we should define "cold." You said it, sister!

  6. Clever puns, Madame. People forget how to drive in rain over here, including myself. I got stuck in torrents last Tuessday. All I could think about was turning back home and crawling into bed. We're lucky snow doses are seldom here.

    1. Ach, the snow puns are driving me crazy, takes very little these days. I'll have to note the one a local car dealership uses. It didn't even snow that much but it hasn't been that cold so the wee bit o' snow we got melted. However, it was 12˚ in the brilliant sun today, lots of people out and everyone seemed to remember how to drive. So I guess it takes a day to remember? I dunno. Well, the rain might be worse, you've got flooding and low visibility and slippery roads and of course, idiots.

    1. They are but it's been difficult to get any good ice fisherman shots. The white snow is playing havoc with the contrasting dark figures.

  8. Even though you hate it, you express it in a humorous way:) But even then, I love the dreamy-ness in your first capture, and cuteness meeting the dogs in your second! In California it's worse, people cannot even drive in the rain - the first day withing half an hour we passed two accidents! Many thanks for keeping All Seasons up to date with your weekly adventures. Be warm and safe!

    1. Thanks, J, I'm going to be needing a laugh this coming week which I hear is going to be relentlessly cold with ice and snow to seal inall that frigid air. I wish it had been foggy or misty but thank you that's one of my favorite spots. I've heard that about not being able to drive in the rain in California, I think a hard rain brings visibility down to almost nothing. Wow, two in a 1/2 hour, glad you didn't get caught up in that mess.

  9. You make me laugh. Snow kidding. It was 35 degrees here in Florida this morning. Snow kidding (nut no snow). Warmed up to 68 with sun ... we think we’re freezung until we see your pictures.

    1. There's a rude car commercial about dumping that "turd" you're driving with the poop emoji in the ad and something about, "Snow blows" that has to be the worst. I think 68˚ is just about perfect. That was nothing, they said wind chill of 35˚ below zero in Camp Douglas and it's only going to get colder. I can feel the cold insisting itself into my living room from the patio door as I type.

  10. A sense of humor makes everything better! I know about living in snow (Chicago area) but, now, I just appreciate photos.

    1. A few months, ach, more than I want but as they keep saying, we got away with a mild winter and now it's time to pay up.

  12. Brrrrrr! Although, Jeanna, I must say, I do envy the snow a little bit. I have only experienced once in about 45 years of living in Melbourne and our winters here tend to be very mild. Besides, we had a maximum of 43˚C a couple of days ago - that's 109.4˚F!
I have selected one of your photos as my "fave shot" for this week.
Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
