He sent Oliver's mom a text saying, "Fix your dog."
Addendum
I had to add this photo taken just after the video. We estimated Oliver was alone for maybe five minutes before I picked him up for an afternoon jaunt.

It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...
That's one howl indeed. Cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
You too, Sandee. I've never seen or heard him do that before. I think because the other dog is no longer there to keep him company. Such a baby.
DeletePoor sweetie must be lonely!
ReplyDeleteI was there shortly after this was taken, whisking him off for an afternoon full of attention and treats (for tricks and bad breath). I bet the rat boy wasn't alone for more than ten minutes if that.
DeleteOh, thank you so much for this...made us both laugh.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe it when I saw it, it's very out of character for him but he is a pretty pampered pup. A few minutes could be a lifetime in his little mind I guess.
DeleteThat tickled my funny bone.
ReplyDeleteWhat personality.
He is a personality all right, but this was out of the ordinary for the little guy. Rest assured he was pampered and driven to a dog visit where he did his job to perfection.
DeleteHello, Jeanna
ReplyDeleteYour Oliver is so cute. Loved the little howl. Enjoy your day, wishing you a great weekend.
Oliver is one of my favorite all time pups and I've known and taken care of quite a few, Eileen.
DeleteOh, how adorable is that, although I'm sure he doesn't see it that way! They certainly have a mind of their own, don't they?!
ReplyDeleteHe's turning into a different dog since his "brother" left us last summer, Betty. But he's his same sweet self, just a little more vocal, "Owww wooo!"
DeleteAwww....I love it! Nothing like a sweet dog :) Thanks for linking up. I am guessing he is well cared for :)
ReplyDeleteHe is beyond well cared for, Michelle, lol. I am just his sitter, walker and pal and I probably spoil him a bit, just a bit.
DeleteOw, that's why I love dogs - they're connected to their owner, not to the house, like cats. Yay, you found some time to link to All Seasons, am thrilled:) Your comments are the best, Jeanna! It tells me you are really reading my stuff. About why my son went to China? He had trouble finding a job, even at McDonalds, so when his female friend announced she wanted to teach English in China, he told us he was going to do the same, because "he always wanted to do that", and was
ReplyDeletegone in 11 days! I rather have him far away and happy than unhappy and close to me.
Since we always traveled much, we (including our "kids") are prepared to go the distance. We go from the philosophy that if we don't do any unlawful things, we have nothing to hide, even in a Communistic country.
Most of the ones who come from America are treated very well there, and it's easy to get a job there. In Nanchang where he taught,it was a promotion, because his first supervisor wanted him to do it, because she knew, he loved the kids and the others did it for the money.
I love dogs too and only learned that about cats and dogs after having, let's see if you put it in human terms, Oliver's nephew's cat for three years. I think that's why that cat didn't want to leave because he'd formed an attachment with my apartment, haha.
DeleteOf course I read your stuff, I probably read most people's posts more than your average blogger but there are a handful of you guys I consider more than blogging buddies and I make sure to read and take in every word.
Even at McDonald's, that is nuts. I'm sure the McDonald's over here could have used him, I have stories.
Sounds like his always wanting to do that came as news to you. I'm sure you passed that traveling bug on to your kids and what a wonderful thing to pass on. Yes, you would want him happy and far away because the worst possible thing can happen to your child in the next room if they are unhappy.
I think I watch too much TV and since my dad was a cop always expect the worst thing to happen and when it does I want to be home. I think your son is very brave, you must be so proud of him.
He is adorable! I know you must enjoy him and all the cute things he does!
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable and yes, I really do love the little rat boy.
DeleteLovely dog.
