A Little Nip

I got a Turbo Scratcher refill for Dexter's Mardi Gras present which I guessed he wanted more than beads. He acted as if he's never gotten a new toy or scratcher before and even enjoyed the nip that came with it. He's normally not a nip guy so it must have been good stuff.
Doesn't he look a little too fascinated with the turbo balls?

Dude, have you ever really looked at these balls? I mean really looked at them? They're soooo cool

  1. You're sure they're turbo balls? It's not Ka's eyes (The Jungle Book) because Dexter is extremely fascinated !!! Hahaha...
    Oh, wait... Ssssst, he sleeps!

    1. Haha, Ella, I sprinkled the cat nip that came with the refill scratcher all over and the balls picked up a lot of it. Nice reference, lol. He's more fascinated with cheese and the train that goes by our window than snake eyes. Unless of course he's out at the casino.

  2. We've had a few ball toys for the cats, but they never have interest. Cat bro Bert is a nip head. He loves any nip, any time.

    1. He liked the one he came with when he first started staying with me about two years ago, but my cousin didn't bring it when he dropped him off this time. I don't think he was ever as crazy about this Morovilla Turbo as the Bergan one as a toy but he loves it to scratch and lounge on it. Mardi Gras was one of the rare times he played with the balls but I think he was all nipped out from celebrating Fat Tuesday. Bert is a nip head huh? Does he listen to the Dead?

    1. He may enjoy the scratcher in the middle more than the toy, Brian. I bet your gang enjoys a daily round of whack the balls.

    1. He wasn't pleased I left him to celebrate Mardi Gras but he forgave me when I returned bearing gifts.

  7. I wish, he got a little extra food and a new refill cuz it was Fat Tuesday but that didn't stop him from demanding his rightful playtime.
